Very clean, great communication on any questions asked before and during stay. Very accommodating. Size was a little small but location, nice & new inside along with the dock on the river more than made up for it!
We loved this peaceful location on the canal! We especially enjoyed kayaking and were thrilled to see manatees nearly everday! Our host was very kind and was very quick to reply to our questions. We were very happy with the accommodations and look forward to returning in the future!
We went for a quick trip to Weeki Wachee park and springs. Kayaking and fishing at the property were a nice way to spend a day. Additionally, we went to Pine Island Beach, just a 10 min drive up the road. Great for kids and swimming.
Host was very responsive and made our stay enjoyable.
This was one of our favorite little get aways yet. Beautiful property on the water. Excellent location if you like water activities, a little hiking, some good restaurants to choose from. Jason the property manager was easy and convinient. Thumbs up for whole experience!
Wanting to stay on the canal at Weeki Wachee being able to have access to kayaks, was great. But the actual access to getting to Weeki Wachee from the House is receiving. The house was amazing. Our dray was great! Thank you so much. Had a great time.
Great place to stay, we enjoyed our get away. My 10 yr old caught tons of snapper right in canal from back yard, I even landed a nice speckled trout. We used kayaks to check out all the neighborhood via the canals. Will return to west coast of Florida after this memorable trip.
Probably better in the winter time but a great place to stay
Probably better in the winter time but a great place to stay.
The only negative I can say is I didn’t catch any fish lol. That being said I saw a lot of wildlife just from the back patio. Great location. The community has a swimming hall which was kind of neat. Great place to use the properties kayaks. Neighbors are very friendly.
House is very clean and new. No clutter, no bugs, great AC, and very very quiet. Five of us easily kayaked over to Weeki Wachee directly from the house. Unfortunately the mermaid show was closed and the weather wasn't great, but we had great time and were very comfortable here. The owner's also went out of their way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back.
My wife and I had some business in the area and then where moving on to SW Florida so we needed a place to stay for 2 days. Originally we were going to stay in a hotel but decided to see what was available on VRBO. We are glad we did. The place is clean, bright, modern (my wife loved the mattress) with an open floorplan and of course has a million dollar view being right on the water. The location is perfect as it is close to many restaurants and supermarkets, but is also secluded in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Would definitely rent again.
Super cute house with great backyard, small cleaning issue
The house was great. So cute and great location. I would say overall really good. The only issue was the cleaning aspect. We had to wash about 50% of the dishes we wanted to use because they were visibly dirty. And the kitchen could use some more attention in the cleaning process. Besides that, it was all good!
Home was nice and open with comfortable beds. Enjoyed being on the water and seeing manatees each day. Great place ifyou have a boat or skis. Only suggestion is the water pressure is so great in showers, that a heavy or weighted shower curtain would be wise. The guest bathroom especially has the most issue. The water pressure blows shower curtain open and water gets all over floor. Could be potential accident.
This property was super clean and great location. We vacationed with 3 adults, a 9 year old and 13 yr old and we all enjoyed the kayaks and fishing every single day. We caught a few fish from the dock but greatly enjoyed the backyard and watching the fish jump and a manatee or two visited every day. Exploring on the kayaks we located great clearwater springs nearby to swim in. The community itself is very quiet and everyone is super friendly. We enjoyed visiting the state park as well as the Homosassa Wildlife Refuge and the town has some great shops and great food at Bubbaques. Jason was wonderful to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had. This was by far one of the most enjoyable vacations we have had and would quickly do it again. The no-seeums (little knats) were plentiful so make sure you have your bugspray but it was kindly provided along with everything you need by the owner. Thanks again Jason for a wonderful week although we had to leave a day early.

Great location with some issues.
Let me start by saying the house location is great and the interior is very nice; however, there are a few things that guests should be aware of. I wrote the host a private email to make them aware of these concerns; however, they were not considerate enough to even respond back. When we arrived the floor was not swept or mopped. My wife swept up three piles of dirt. We couldn’t mop because there was not a mop available. We used a rag to wipe up dirty spots on the floor. There was a large dead cockroach on the floor in the master bedroom closet. The inside of the fridge was dirty and we found two small cockroaches inside the fridge. We also noticed a few small roaches in the kitchen area. The blue furniture is stained and dirty and not something we really would sit on. The dark cloth furniture was dirty as well but not as bad. The outside of the home could use a good cleaning as well. Overall our stay was good and we love the location. Again, I told the host this stuff so they could make improvements for future guests. I didn’t want to leave a poor review; however, it’s been over two weeks without any acknowledgement of our concerns.
Very beautiful property! Immaculate inside and out. The property is fully fenced in on the river with a private dock. Perfect for a friends or family get away.
I really liked your house! It’s tastefully decorated, everything was beautiful and clean. You can really feel that the hosts care about comfort and aesthetics. I highly recommend it to everyone!
We had a great time here, the house was great and the view beautiful. We did get to see dolphins twice which was exciting. We were in town for my nephews graduation and my niece and nephews enjoyed playing on the foosball table. It was a hot and humid week so we spent most of the time in the house so it was nice to have a great view.
The place was cute and very spacious for a family weekend. The deck is really nice, and the water was great! Peaceful neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Very nice!

Super cute! Great kayaking! But you are on your own if anything goes wrong!
Great location for kayaking! This house is on a canal off the Mud River, which later connects to the Weeki Wachee for an enjoyable day's paddle. BUT...We booked 5 people ( it is listed for 6 people) and there were only linens for 4 people. When we messaged the Host about this, he replied "Thanks for reaching out, and I’m really sorry that the extra linens weren’t available as expected. Unfortunately, I’m unable to drop off additional ones during your stay. In the past, we’ve had extra linens go missing or be taken by previous guests, and it looks like that may have happened again. I completely understand this isn’t ideal, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding. If there’s anything else I can help with during your stay, please don’t hesitate to let me know." Yes Jason, you are right. It really isn't ideal to only have linens for four people when you have booked a place for five. How do you decide who gets the bed pillows and washcloths. Which people get sheets and which ones don't? After several messages back and forth over the days of our stay, he did offer to reimburse us for what we had purchased to get by. Unfortunately, my son had not kept the receipt for the sleeping bag that he bought, so the host refused to offer any compensation. Sometimes things happen. But inventory should be done between guests and it shouldn't be our job to fix it. You could have had linens delivered. Easy and done! And the next guests would have linens.
The home was very clean and well maintained. The kayaks were in really good shape and the seats worked well. The area is amazing and home has a great spot right on the corner of the canal. The one thing that tripped us up a bit was that you either need a Roku account or fire stick to watch TV. We did not have either with us so we couldn't watch TV the entire trip. Wish we had known to prepare for that. Otherwise, the home is wonderful. Thank you to Jason for quick responses.
