Amazing place! Anytime I had a question the host responded back quickly. The check in process was super easy. The condo was up to date and very nice. Great location, especially when it came to the 2 min walk across the road to Johns pass! Loved the easy beach access as well!
Amazing stay with everything we needed. Responsive property manager, answered all our questions. Great area with a nice pool, and many surrounding shops and restaurants nearby.
The unit itself was obviously older but fairly updated. Most Parking was covered and though the description says one parking spot per unit, we were able to park a second car in general uncovered parking.
The condo was big, clean and had everything we could need. The pool was great and the beach was close. We enjoyed the short walk to the boardwalk for meals and shopping too! Would definitely stay here again!
The condo was spacious. We only had four people but could easily accommodate up to eight people. Would have been nice to have beach view but it was on the beach so can’t complain.
This was our first stay at sandy shores and it did not disappoint! Clean, updated, comfy!! (Trust me when I say comfort matters around here and you really don't get it at alot of the surrounding condos! )
All in all great experience and we will be back next time we come to Madeira!
Over all our stay was great, We had a little problem with the Faucet breaking in the bathtub but was fixed the next evening. The room was nice and updated there is beach chairs on the outside deck and sand toys! It really has everything you need for a family with teenagers and a small child. The location is perfect the pool is very nice! The property itself was very safe And well-maintained! We enjoyed the stay and will book again!!

209 Sandy Shores is nice
Condo was in good shape and across the street from John's Pass. Trolly stops were out front and across the street so very convenient. Pool as very clean and beach was awesome just beyond the pool.
Small issues:
- floors in the condo make your feet black but condo was overall clean
- only broom was broken (commicated with the manager but no response)
- not enough adult size forks for 6 adults
- 1 very small fry pan available
- ice maker in freezer is slow on ice making and the 2 ice trays are cracked in places but does hold water
Would stay here again.
The centralized Madeira Beach location is awesome. The loud high performance cars and motorcycles that race on the Main Street out front at all hours lets you know the liveliness of the place! (I’m blown away that the police ignore them) that is conveniently is relatively near a LOT of nice state, county and community parks including near amazing St. Petersburg’s parks and pier.
The unit is secure, clean, maintained, updated and has a beautiful/private white Sandy beach. The boardwalk is directly across the street. It was a nice place to recharge our batteries (whenever the extreme noise subsided:).
Check in was super easy and we even got into the property early. The day we checked in was a Sunday. I called the office to tell them that the toilet would not flush. They informed me it was an emergency line and they could not take care of it, but would sense somebody the next day. Nobody ever showed up, but the emergency line told me to shake the agitator and it worked. It was just an inconvenience. Nice building and super convenient to Johns Pass. Great pool and wonderful beach. Comfortable beds and couch.
Pool was cloudy with debris on bottom until Friday so didnt want to use it until then. Master shower does not drain well. Had to use other bathtub or would be in ankle deep water. Needs more lighting. Location very good for beach, restaurants and shops. Parking space large and convenient
Property cleanliness, check-in, and location were good. However, the problem was minimal hot water, toilet in kids room would not flush, the property dryer made so much noise we were unable to use, and minimal basic amenities…towels, toilet paper, etc. Overall bad experience!
We’ve been staying at these condos since 2005. This is he first time not gulf front. The room was the most spacious and nice condo we’ve been in. Highly recommend. Wish there would have been more than two towels and wash cloths and a hand towel would have been great. lol. Minor issue though. 2nd floor washer was broken but easy solution to go up or down a flight.

This unit was renovated nicely but we reported the day we got there that the guest bathroom toilet didn’t flush, the guest bedroom closet door was broke, toilet paper roll was missing and the sliding glass doors near the parking garage did not have a functioning lock. We were told someone would contact us the next morning but nobody did. I sent messages to the host and a chat message to Expedia with NO RESPONSE!! Would stay again if these things were fixed.

The property did not have good lighting at all and some of the pieces of furniture were broken not by us. Also toilet was broken called the office but they never got the room number and said they will tell maintenance but maintenance never came because they never got our room number called several times about it as well. The office that handles the problems are worthless.
Honestly, where do I start. Upon arrival, we were told a cabinet on the balcony had been knocked over and someone was on their way to fix it (This never happened), and until we decided to move it it remained a mess on the balcony for most of the trip. We showered and quickly realized there was black mold on the curtains, and the shower drain was clogged, water was up to our ankles, again no one came by to fix this. Our feet from walking around the unit was BLACK and CAKED on by the end of the day... disgusting (Does no one mop? Where does the cleaning fee go towards...). The dining room table bench leg was broken, and we couldn't have our family (which were staying above us in a cheaper, nicer unit) couldn't even join us for breakfast as there was not enough seating. The closet door was completely off the track, and broken and a safety hazard for our toddler. The children bathtub made a terrible loud noise when you ran the water. The balcony door did not lock. Not to mention the state of the building, the elevator is terribly slow, and on day 1 there was a line up, and it took us 30 minutes to bring our luggage upstairs... overall the building is run down. For the same price or cheaper you can find much nicer accommodations. Not to mention when I contacted VRBO about our complaints, as our unit did not have a phone to reach the hosts and I did not have US calling. They said these were minor inconveniences and refused to assist... Thank god for the beach....
