About this property

Welcome to our home in arguably the most popular neighbourhood in the city! Within blocks of Queen Elizabeth Park and Vancouver’s first Michelin Star restaurant, “Published” on Main, you will find not only everything you need within blocks but also some of the City's choice treasures.

A complete renovation was finished in March 2023. Brand new kitchen and bathrooms with an Italian flair, a view of the mountains, the back wall of glass completely opening to the deck for indoor/outdoor living and gas grill, and lovely, quiet view with lots of greenery and birdsong.

The awesome Main St part of the city is home to beautiful tree canopied streets/ethnic and vegetarian restaurants/consignment shops/ boutiques/antique shops/grocery/pharmacy. Public transit is two blocks away: one bus to downtown, one bus to UBC, 10 min walk to Canada Line. Walk score 95. We are four blocks north of Queen Elizabeth park, the little mountain in the middle of the city with iconic views of the city and north shore mountains.

The home is the second floor of the house with three bedrooms and two baths with us living downstairs in the suite. We have a huge kitchen completely equipped to a chef's needs: henkel knives, cast iron enamel skillets, baking supplies, gas grill and 6 burner Viking stove. You are welcomed by fresh herbs and flowers. There are blackout curtains, a giant sectional couch for lounging and sleeping. The back deck is complete with table, chairs, love seat and chair for evening dining or morning coffee. Open the back wall for indoor outdoor living while playing jazz on the built in sound system.

Vancouver Stay

We were impressed with the online presentation, but when we arrived the property went far above our expectations!!! There was more than ample room for 3 couples. The upstairs living space had its own entry and had been completely remodeled recently and is amazing. Lots of natural light and a lovely deck on back and a small sitting deck on front. The kitchen was stocked with basic items. Our hostess Sherry was amazing! She is so personable. a great hostess. She had everything we needed. She responded to inquires in a reasonable time frame. If we come back, we would surely use Sherry's place. We highly recommend this lovely place and Sherry as a hostess!! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful house, great location

This is a beautifully remodeled home in a fantastic neighborhood. The home looks just like the pictures and the kitchen is stunning. There's patio access on either side of the house and tons of natural light. The host provided numerous thoughtful touches, such as chilled wine and sparkling water and well stocked pantry and consumables like toilet paper and paper towels. We even had a spot in the driveway to park. The Main street area is just a couple of blocks away and has tons of cafes, restaurants, boutiques and even an organic grocery. We were very happy to be in such a beautiful and walkable neighborhood.

Amazing property and host

We arrived very early and asked the host if we could drop off our luggage. She allowed us to do this. In addition, one of our group was feeling ill. Our host let him stay and rest on her couch while she readied the house. She answered our questions promptly. The home was located well, the beds were comfy, and it was decorated very nicely.
