Fun Birthday Trip!
Property was clean and accommodating with relaxing outside spaces. It was nice to rent a place with adequate cooking essentials, food storage and cleaning supplies. Loved being close to Shoreline Park and Lazy Acres. Only disappointment was NO Live TV and only apps that you had to subscribe. Disappointing to miss a Sunday of NFL games, college hoops and local news. Cable not that expensive for a higher end property. Lesson learned.

Perfect home base for 50th bday trip
Mesa Life was the perfect spot for my birthday trip. We were ten friends, and with five beds and three bathrooms, we were very comfortable. The house is beautifully appointed and fully equipped, and the backyard is large and lovely! We had morning coffee and afternoon cocktails around the fire outside, which was one of everyone's favorite activities on the trip. We walked to the beach tobsee the sunrise and easily ubered to dinners out in Funk Zone. One night we ended up ordering in, and were so glad to have a table where we could all sit! I highly recommend this bungalow! *the only inconvenience was the french doors at the living room being chained shut, requiring us to access the backyard through the back bedroom.

Nice property but poor response
The property is nice and the location is very good. Our main issue was with doors to the patio. They were very hard to close and then became stuck so they could not be opened. This was a real problem because the very hot weather resulted in the house being too hot and stuffy. We had our two year old grandson who needs good ventilation to sleep properly . One of the smoke alarms then kept going on and off. We asked one of the property managers about this and he said the alarm may need a new battery and he was aware about the problem with the doors. He gave some advice that helped but then the next day the doors could not be opened at all. When we reported these issues to the property manager, he said there was nothing they could do about it that evening and we were leaving the next day. We also mentioned we noticed a leak from the washer. The response was that we should have told them about all this sooner and their attitude was almost blaming us for causing these issues. We did have some water boiling very briefly and they said that was the cause of the alarm going off. This was obviously not the case as the alarm went off at other times when the stove was not in use. Given the cost of the rental, they could be more accommodating. The previous property we had via VRBO was much better in that regard.
