Great place for couples planning to stay in Auckland CBD for a few days.

The place is small, but very clean and with all amenities provided, including free Internet. The building is secure and well managed. It is right in the centre of Auckland CBD, so perfect if you have business there, but also a great starting point to travel around as trains and buses are just a short stroll away. Communication with the owner was very easy and she was amazing all the time, quickly replying and providing any information I requested. Although, we didn't bother her much as everything we needed was there on our arrival.

Disappointing

This property is described as quiet and cosy which definitely isn't the case. Once we arrived, the place hadn't been cleaned properly. It looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned for awhile. We had booked for 28+ days so we expected the place to come with basic things like a bath mat, tea towels, chopping board etc. The place was almost a shell except for a bunch of almost empty bottles of cleaning products and half used bathroom amenities. When I expressed these concerns with the host, she had an excuse for everything. Instead of trying to understand or help her tenants she described it as budget friendly and pretty much brushed us off. From then on things just continued to worsen. The building often had police around attending to domestic claims, a lot of crime would happen surrounding the building. Didn't feel the safest. Towards the end of our stay, the water was actually turned off for two days, 8 hours on each day. This meant the place was quite unlivable during this time because we couldn't cook, clean, shower, use the washing machine or even go to the toilet. We actually work from home so this was quite an inconvenience. When I expressed these concerns, we were brushed off again saying because we still were using electricity, the place is still worth its full cost. How about needing to go to the toilet? Disappointing communication from the host. Just because you consider your place budget, doesn't mean you don't have respect or care for the people who are your tenants.

Great location, homely but filled with cockroaches !

Quite small, though has everything that you need. Appreciate the care put in to make it feel homely - however there is a LARGE cockroach problem that plagued our stay. In the four nights we stayed, we killed over 15 cockroaches. Other than that, great place - though bring some kind of shoes for bathroom as the shower easily gets the rest of the bathroom wet and bathroom doesn’t drain well.

Great Location

We stayed three nights and appreciated the early check-in. The unit is very small but the location is great and worked well for our stay. The manager responded to questions in a timely manner.
