The Blue Goat is the quintessential beach house - a spacious lagoon-front home located directly across the street from the beach in Gulf Shores, accommodating up to 16 guests.

• Balcony access is from the living room with stunning lagoon and Gulf views



• Fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a home-away-from-home, including a wine cooler



• Two dining areas: one seats eight and the other seats four

Our stay was everything we had hoped. We all had so much fun. The house was beautiful and clean.

Everything was clean. And the house was just as advertised. It was beautiful and there was plenty of room for all of us. We had an amazing time.

Great place to stay!

The Blue Goat was a great place to stay. We had a three generation family of 10 that was very comfortable. Plenty of room for all of us. Location was perfect! We loved the private pier out to the quiet lagoon and easy walk across the street to the beautiful beach. House had everything we needed. Highly recommend, would love to stay here again!

Love this house, Love this setting!

Such a great home with a huge, open grate room and lots of space for kiddos and adults. The best part for me has always been the pier on the little lagoon. With a roof overhead to provide shade, and a breeze, one can sit out there in the heat of the summer and be comfortable. The kids and adults can swim or float in the lagoon, or cross the street at the public beach access directly across the street and experience the Gulf of Mexico, in all it's glory! P.S., I love the outside (private) shower!

Annual Family Vacation

We had been looking for a place for our large group that slept 14 that meet all of our interest. The Blue Goat was perfect for sleeping, playing, beach, fishing and kayaking. The goat meet all of our needs. We had a great time. We would definitely stay there again.

Blue Goat on lagoon

A little older property, but all beds comfortable with tons of pillows, awesome pier for fishing, a few miles from downtown so very quiet and no spring vacation noise. Well equipped, spacious.

Great place for families with kids

We loved our stay at the Blue Goat for Spring Break! The home has a great layout for multiple families and is great for smaller children. Being on the lagoon worked out so well for the days when the ocean was too rough to swim in. The beach is quiet and a very easy walk. Kayaks, fishing poles, etc kept all the kids happy in between our beach time. Highly recommend this rental!

Gulf Shores in August

A wonderful week at Blue Goat for our family of all ages!! Despite the ultra high temps, we found solitude floating in the lagoon or relaxing at the beach. We loved that the home was not near the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet a short drive away. We will definitely return in the future!!

Xmas 2021

We brought our entire family to Gulf Shores for Christmas this year. The Blue Goat was Amazing. Plenty of room for all 12 of us. The location was spectacular. The beach at the property was perfect for my grandchildren and it was a quick walk across the road to get to the Gulf. Would definitely stay at this property again.

We’ve stayed in Gulf Shores many times, and the Blue Goat is among my favorite houses we’ve rented. The location is perfect—easy beach access and an amazing dock on the lagoon! We reeled in dozens of fish, and kayaked around the lagoon. The house is a little dated, but well-stocked and had plenty of room for our group of 11. Will be back again!

Best of Both Worlds

The Blue Goat was great! Fishing and kayaking on the Little Lagoon and the beach directly across the street. The very first day my son caught his bucket list fish! On the quieter end of the Blvd. There were 12 of us ranging from 7 to 84. A great time was had by all and would definitely return.

Couldn't be better

We loved having a dock with a beach where we could swim, jump off the dock, play in sand, fish, or relax under the covered dock. A short walk across the street we we at the beach, but the water was too rough for swimming. Nice for walks and playing ball. The house was well equipped and provided lots of room for us to sit and eat. Beds were comfortable. House was quiet. All the TVs worked. Local restaurants were incredible. Lots to do. Every one of us loved it.

Great place

Bluegoat is a perfect house for a family vacation. It was close to town but not in the crowded area. We had an amazing time. The house was very clean and well equipped. We were disappointed in the grill. We tried to use it but it was not possible. It was in pretty rough shape. Other than the grill we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Blue Goat on Spring Break. Great dock to fish from and kayak around. House has one kayak and we rented another from GoGo Kayaks. The beach is right across the street. One thing would have made it better and that would be a private pool! Other than that perfect week.

Our Gulfshores family vacation

We had 12 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone. There was also plenty of large cooking items for bigger parties as well (plates, eating utensils roasting pans, skillets etc.) The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect. Being on the bay with the ocean literally across the street was so nice for the kids. They had plenty of things to do like fish, paddle board and kayaking in the bay as well as hanging out on the beach. The property itself needs a little TLC inside, stains on couch, broken mirror in the dining room, fans and air vents need cleaning, but our kids didn't notice. Overall it was a great place to stay!

The environment and atmosphere of this location was just captivating. Our first time in Alabama and this will now be our new get away… it was just breathe taking.. words can’t express our experience but we will definitely be a returning tourist!!!

Quiet and perfect

Perfect location and great for families. The house is a little outdated and well worn, but overall great. The only issues we found were the useless shower heads, the extremely dirty grill and the satelite for the TVs never worked, but we basically only used the house for breakfast and sleeping. Lots of random broken stuff around the house that didn't detract from the stay any (fridge shelf and mirror in dining room off the top of my head). The porches were perfect for sunrises and sunsets and the dock was great for passing hot afternoons with a fishing pole. The gulf is literally across the road and there's a perfect trail over the dunes to a secluded beach. Kids loved the bunk beds and all the parents were happy with their accommodations. We will definitely look for this place again next year.

Great Looking House

Easy check in. Kept us updated throughout the stay via text messages. House is a little dated and could use some upgrades on the appliances. But its a really nice house and in a Great location. Wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend for large family groups.

Absolutely Amazing

I don't want to give a great review on this property because I don't want it to become a hot commodity! We had three families each with two kids under 8. It was spacious, clean, and the facilities were amazing. You could tell all COIVD procedures were followed. The lagoon side is relaxing and convenient. We spent the day we arrived out back and it was amazing. Across the street is the Gulf. It's away from the main part of Gulf Shores so we basically had the entire beach to ourselves. This property is too good to be true. Our group WILL be back!

Just What We Needed

We stayed in this property for my niece's birthday beach getaway. It accommodated us all comfortably. Everyone was impressed with the house. My son fished all night and day. Even fees some of the fish to the pelicans. This is definitely a place that we will stay again.
