Nature Villa in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka was awesome.
Our 10-day stay at Nature Villa in Hikkaduwa was a fabulous experience. There were 10 family members of ages 65 to 9 months traveling together, and the 6 bedrooms accommodated us beautifully. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, every couple had their own bathrooms, and the backyard and pool were lovely. Rental management was extremely responsive to our needs, and helped arrange for transport and tours as needed. We enjoyed the chef that we arranged for during our stay, who cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners for us each day at the villa. The beach and downtown action were just a short tuk tuk ride away, but the house location was quiet and peaceful. It was fun to see the purple-faced leaf monkeys come through the trees over the back fence each night around dusk. From the house we also saw fish eagles, fruit bats, lots of beautiful birds and other creatures. In short, the villa was an excellent place for our home base as we did day trips around the Hikkaduwa and Galle area. I would highly recommend it.
