“Good Times & Tan Lines” is a luxury vacation home at Cinnamon Shore. Sleeps up to ten people with two kings, one queen, two extra long twins (built in bunks) and one pull out queen sofa bed.

AMENITIES: At North, Resort-style amenities include three lavish pools, two scenic lakes, a fishing dock, fire pits, a fitness center, private dune crossovers, lawn games, a pirate ship playscape, and more! Enjoy on-site restaurants such as a Mediterranean bistro and a pizzeria, a coffee shop and café, while the Town Center hosts events, activities, and live music in peak season and on holiday weekends.

MAIN LIVING SPACE: Located on the second floor, the open-concept living space features the beautiful colors of sea glass, blue, green and white with gray accents. Relax on the cozy couch facing the 65 inch flat-screen TV or play games at the spacious dining table. Prepare meals in our beautiful fully equipped kitchen with stainless KitchenAid appliances, sparkling white quartz countertops, designer backsplash, glass pendant lighting and plenty of seating at the large island. Brand new Weber gas grill located on another small balcony off the dining area. This is the perfect home for entertaining! This whole space opens onto the breezy front porch with a picture perfect view of the Bay.

SLEEPING QUARTERS: On the first floor a stunning primary bedroom complete with a king size bed and flat screen TV. Soothing decorator colors of light blue, crisp white with navy accents make this bedroom a coastal dream. En-suite primary bath has shower, dual sinks and quartz countertops. This primary also has its own private deck that looks out to the beautiful green space lawn of the Sunset Cottages.Also located on the first floor a lovely built in queen bed nook with drawers below for storage. This added sleeping area has shiplap surround and is the epitome of coastal style. Upstairs, a second primary bedroom offers a king sized bed, flat screen tv, and a private balcony with community views. On nights where there is live music in Town Center you can sit and listen to it from this balcony! This bedroom also features built in bunks with two extra long twin mattresses. Below the bunk area are built in drawers for storage.The bathroom on this floor is shared with the main living area. This bathroom has a huge oversized shower with dual shower heads. Lastly there is a brand new queen sized sleeper sofa in the living area.

GREAT FEATURES: This cottage is conveniently located a few steps away from the Town Center, dining and shops (two restaurants, a coffee shop, liquor store and market). You can walk to the dune crossover or rent a golf cart to drive over the crossover to the beautiful beach. A covered carport offers parking for one vehicle with plenty of additional parking on the side of the cottage. The carport also offers a row of hooks for hanging towels and beach gear. Relax and have fun in three resort-style pools.

Quick Trip for Relaxation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleased with the cottage, Good Times & Tan Lines 247HL. Location was nice and property was clean. There were some areas where some paint repair is needed but nothing major. Comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen. Would rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, nice condo. Beach weather was perfect and you can’t beat umbrellas and chairs set up each day for you! Unfortunately there is still construction going on near this unit so not a great view and at 6:55 am golf carts being moved was not pleasant. Unlike other units we’ve stayed in this one had nothing in the kitchen pantry but salt/pepper so be prepared. Also a make up mirror and a hairdryer would be nice additions as well as hooks in bathrooms to hang clothes or makeup bag. There are no clothes closets so you live out of your suitcase.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our cottage was so lovely. Extremely clean—housekeeping was outstanding! Location nice, neighbors nice. Family had a blast!A few areas need improvement: no pantry, so there was no salt and pepper, or sugar for coffee. We replenished coffee pods. There was also no first aid kit, with alcohol pads. One family member brought one. But there WAS the fire extinguisher! Luckily we didn’t need that!! It was very attractive and the porch off the dining room was lovely for morning coffee. Your staff was outstanding!!! I left two sleeping pillows and housekeeping found them and y’all mailed them back to me- a million thanks! You have no idea how much that meant to me, truly. We also misplaced a child’s Yeti water bottle and it was in the list and found at Kiera’s pool. My faith in mankind has been restored, knowing HONEST PEOPLE are still out there! Thank you, Cinnamon Shores, for ALL you do to nourish families! You guys are THE BEST. And we took excellent care of your re tal house as well. And 100 thank yous for the blackout shades/blinds in the bedrooms, that are energy efficient! Our Thanksgiving rental had nine and I was up all night with the Hollywood Lights/security lights, at that rental.

Reviewer Comments: No hot water the first day was not a great start to the weekend and having to deal with this issue while on vacation was disappointing however the CS staff were on top of everything they kept us informed and had it addressed quickly.

Lovely House!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 6 adults and 2 boys. Felt comfortable for all of us! Cute decor! We loved the mattresses and having two king-sized beds. Know that there is only one closet in the house where you can hang things and it’s in the downstairs bedroom. All the beds without closets had thoughtful built-in drawers. I’m a HUGE fan of wall hooks - there were PLENTY downstairs for towels and beach gear - but more upstairs would be a nice addition. There were NO condiments- which is fine - but other reviews had mentioned olive oil and such, so we didn’t bring them, and then the Cinnamon Shore market was closed for remodeling which I wish we had been told ahead of time. Finally - the AC was not keeping up and the upstairs living area was consistently 79-80degrees, even at 9pm. There are No ceiling fans in that large main room. The management called out an emergency AC guy and they tried to help but we had little relief. As we checked out , they said they had AC service/evaluation scheduled, so hopefully this will be fixed for future renters. Overall - we’d return and recommend Food Times and Tan Lines!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay - really enjoyed the community's look and feel (felt like we were in Charleston on the east coast). You really don't have to leave the community at all, if you don't want to. The coffee shop and restaurants were also fantastic. The homes are well made and quiet. Beach access is quick on a golf cart (a must). The house is near the main road and the views include the road, a vacant lot, and construction. There were charming views into the shared lawn area as well. Lastly, the water pressure in the shower was downright painful. We've made management aware so this can hopefully get fixed before more guests stay. All in all, we'd return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Made the trip from the Houston area to get away from the Galveston crowd. The Cinnamon Shore facility is very clean and well kept. Still some active construction in the North section, but it is not too intrusive. The 247HL cottage was well appointed, all you need to bring is your family and whatever consumables you need. Rent one of the golf carts on site to get onto the beach, and reserve chairs to ensure you get a location on the beach. It's a little extra, but worth the effort to have a guaranteed spot. One negative - the water pressure is amazing...but the shower heads are not. Both showers have the same "rainfall" type heads, but with the water pressure so high, it's more like fifty tiny lasers aimed right at you. Very unpleasant, and there's no adjustment. If these were swapped to handheld showers or an adjustable nozzle, this would be a perfect place.

The house was very nice and clean and offered all that we needed. Would suggest a lamp in the family room. And please change out the shower heads. There is only one setting and the water beats down on you. Painful on the face. These are the only complaints. Decor and art was beautiful!! Also, at this unit, and time, there was a lot of construction noise that started at 8 am and went till dark!!! Kinda annoying.
