Castle Rock Lake Cabin Near Lake ~ Close To Wisconsin Dells ~ Peaceful Retreat!

Come stay in our 3 bedroom / 2 bath cabin - only 30 minutes from the Dells and steps away from Castle Rock Lake. Come to relax, boat, fish, swim, golf, snow mobile- Too many options to describe! The fire pit is a great way to end the day and enjoy the stars or the sunset over the lake. The game room is great for rainy days- with pool table and darts - not to mention the board games and puzzles. Each bedroom has a TV and the twin bedroom and living room both have a DVD player.

Sleeps 8 and pet friendly! We provide the bedding and towels - The kitchen is fully stocked and we have a gas grill and a charcoal grill for you to use. Close enough to the Dells and yet - nice and quiet after busy days. There is a public beach less than a mile away and a public boat launch - just blocks away.

Pets are welcome- please ask first:) Internet/WIFI is installed and working great - and we just put in a beautiful new gas range with convection cooking. The master bathroom complete with washer/dryer was just installed and we couldn't be happier:)

Has everything you could need!

My family had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, comfy, and had everything you could need. There was plenty to do. We enjoyed a delicious fish fry down the road at The Rustic Ridge, did a little shopping in town, grilled out, had a nice fire, and followed the path to the lake to take some family photos. Oh, and we played lots of euchre! There just wasn’t enough time in the weekend to take advantage of it all. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful Getaway

Great getaway by the lake! The home is nice and the neighborhood is peaceful. We loved the combination of pool & ping pong indoors and bocce & cornhole outdoors. Highly recommended.

Anniversary trip

We really enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed the fact that the tv was really easy to work. Some places it has been difficult to figure out. We also enjoyed the pool table and the great verity of games.

Guys golf outing.

We really enjoyed the place. Comfortable with lots of character and a great game room. We particularly enjoyed the pool table and the fire pit. Location was accessible to a lot of the golf courses nearby. Everything was clean and orderly we would stay there again for sure.

Great place that is exactly as advertised! We enjoyed spacious living room and some of the board games they had (there is a lot!). The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet -- unfortunately the weather didnt let us have a fire but the pit you see in the photos would've been great!

Wonderful cabin, fully equipped with any little thing you may need! Perfect for a girl's get away, beds were comfortable & the cabin was cozy warm during a rainy weekend. Game room was an added bonus for indoor activities! Amy was fantastic, prompt with responses & provided us with a truly stress free weekend getaway!!

Perfect property!

Perfect place to stay for all ages as well as perfect location! We brought our kayaks and used theirs, as their is a perfect entrance/exit right up the road. Beach is within walking distance, and on the crummy days, we found PLENTY to do in the house - more games and fun than we had time to use! Communication was spot on and I appreciate you for sharing your home and making our family from Cali feel so welcome and now love WI!

Quiet and friendly neighborhood

We came for the weekend and had a great time. The house is across the road from the lake but you need to walk to see it. The neighbors are nice and we had a fun camp fire outside one night. We found fun local places to hang out Saturday afternoon. Great weekend thank you.

I absolutely love the castle rock area

I grew up east side of castle rock. It was nice to be back for a long holiday weekend. Love the property and the house. Kids were in the lake every day. Walked four houses down to a nice sandy point. Also Carlsons Rustic Ridge on the big beach is walkable and a great spot. Sunsets are amazing, boat ramps are close by and free, the whole area is atv/ golf cart friendly. The house has everything you would ever need. This is the most equipped rental I've had. There's even firewood provided. Overall, a great stay for the value. Thank you for opening up your home to my family.

Relaxing, clean, private and cozy.

We stayed here August 6-9 2018. The home was clean and cozy. We came with our 2 grandchildren and our nephew. We found it had everything we needed for our stay. I did read the recent review about towels and we were surprised but saw the note about extra towels in the armoire. We didnt find any there but didnt check the closet. Considering the armoire was nicely stocked with games and misc. Things for guests, it makes sense why they would be in the closet instead. Just didn't look. Kids just showered in evening and adults in morning so water wasn't an issue. Most homes water pressure will go down some if someone flushes while using it. There was Dish network which was nice to have in early morning and to relax before bed. Not to mention a nice game room and a collection of movies and games. The kids only complaint was no internet and after messaging owner I found it wasn't supposed to be listed in amenities, but not sure why it is. I checked again and is listed but not the end of the world. Must have been a typo. We spent 2 full days at the Dells and had a wonderful time . The home was perfect to come back and relax in. The lake and beach was green and did stink but that is out of anyone's control. I had read reviews on the lake and it had good reviews. Not sure why it was like that. Must have been turning over. Mother nature issue. The kids had hoped to fish and were disappointed but plenty of other things to do. There was a park down the road the gate lady let them play at too and the water was a little better there. It was peaceful. I would recommend this home. Thank you for lending us your home. My parents have owned a place near Castle Rock Lake and we've enjoyed our time spent here- so much so that we purchased our cabin in the woods and we couldn't be happier. We'd love to share it with you- in the winter it's quiet and peaceful and the fireplace makes it cozy and warm. In the summer - there's always something to do and the fire pit is a great way to unwind and enjoy Castle Rock Lake. Lots of parking for bringing your sleds, ATV's and boats! Come enjoy the great area!

Why they chose this property

We are on a nice quiet corner and the lake is across the street in front of the cabin - you can walk along the lake - and enjoy the unbelievble sunsets - absolutely amazing. The public beach is a short half mile walk and Rustic Resort Ridge Resort formally - Carlson's Supper Club. Costa Ricky's has outdoor drinks and live music. Right across from the public beach -
It's just a perfect spot
