Single Level, Beach Access, Quiet ~ Havin A Blast
What is the most frequent response when a visitor to Cape San Blas is asked what they are doing on vacation? “Having a blast!” Don’t miss out, and join in on the fun. Located on a quiet neighborhood street on the northern end of the peninsula, Havin A Blas, is a 3-bedroom, 2 bath vacation home just a short walk to the beach. This single-family property is built on pilings, but once inside is laid out all one level. The elevation of the home allows gorgeous views, and the layout provides a very comfortable and convenient space for all.
Along with ideal location, comfort and convenience, Havin A Blas is chock-full of style. With a designer’s touch, this home is draped in pops of color, plenty of sparkle and loads of fun. The spacious living area provides a bright open feel with natural light pouring in from the number of windows. Within the living area there are two sleeper sofas, a large flat-screen TV, a great dining area, a kitchen and even a small bar area. Both on the front and rear of the living area is an outdoor deck perfect for dining, relaxing and just soaking in the gulf views. There are three roomy bedrooms; one a master with a king bed and a fantastic master bath, and two with queen beds. One of the queen rooms has a window workspace meant for inspiration.
If the indoors isn’t enough to fuel the greatest vacation of all times, then take it outdoors. Under the home is a grilling space with lounging couches, a large bed swing to the rear of the home and the two decks on the main level. Let’s not forget about the gorgeous white sand beaches, and crystal clear water of Cape San Blas right at your fingertips. All a perfect recipe for Havin A Blas!

Loved this home. Great location- only a short walk to the beach. Home was super clean and ready to stay. One level once up initial entry stairs was great. Cape San Blas is a beautiful beach and perfect family place.

Extremely clean, decorated lovely, beds comfortable, lots of different outdoor seating areas, easy access to beach, definitely would book again.
The cape may be our new place, weather was super windy, which limited outdoor investigating, but island has tons of outdoor activity and lovely beaches!! Kids rated horseback riding on beach a 10!!!

It sounds like your kids had a fantastic time with the horseback riding! We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back to the Cape for another great stay.
Great location with close, easy access to the beach. Also walking distance to a good restaurant.
The house was exceptionally clean and the best supplies of cooking pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware and wine glasses. We needed plenty of seating around the dining table and even more important around the tv area for playing games at night.

Thank you, Rhonda, for the fantastic review. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the great location and found the house exceptionally clean with ample supplies. It’s wonderful that you had plenty of seating for dining and game nights. We would love to welcome you back for another memorable stay!
We enjoyed staying in this beautiful beach house for 7 nights which just wasn't long enough! The pictures don't do it justice. We were "wowed " when we opened the door the first time. Every room is well appointed and beautifully decorated. It was super clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach was nice and easy. We can't wait for next time!
This area is very remote and private, which is nice. Take everything you need to save time. Master bed is uncomfortable, needs a new mattress as has hump in the middle. Overall a fairly good stay

Thank you for your review, Steve. We're glad you appreciated the remote and private setting of the area. Your feedback regarding the master bed is important to us, and we will consider it for future improvements. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another stay soon!
We loved this house. Beautifully decorated. Much more beach and homey than the photos relate. Very new and clean. Just off the beach. The beach was beautiful. Sunsets spectacular. Restaurant across the street was delicious. Donuts down at the trading post were yummy. We had a great time relaxing and just hanging out. Highly recommended for a couple to just get to the beach and relax.

Thank you, Joe, for the wonderful review. We're glad you loved the house and appreciated its decor and cleanliness. It's great to hear you enjoyed the beach, sunsets, and local dining options. We hope to see you again for another relaxing getaway!
Great house with our older kids. They had freedom to be able to go back and forth from the beach without a long walk. We rented bikes and could get to all the restaurants and stores within a 15 minute easy ride. The only downside was house construction next door that used water generators that got loud a few days.

Thank you, Margie, for your excellent review. We're glad to hear the house worked well for your family and that the beach was so easily accessible. It’s great that you enjoyed biking to local spots. We appreciate your understanding regarding the nearby construction and hope it didn't detract too much from your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back for another enjoyable vacation!
Having a blas is a very well equipped house, very comfortable, close to the beach, at the north end of the Cape. The kitchen has everything we needed for a week even enough to make a birthday pie for my husband. The back porch off the kitchen is great because you can see the sunrise and the sunset. Great house.

Thank you, Susan, for your review. It’s wonderful to hear that you found the house well-equipped and comfortable during your stay. We're glad you could enjoy the kitchen for special moments like baking a birthday pie, and that the back porch provided beautiful views of both the sunrise and sunset. We hope to welcome you back soon for another fantastic stay!
Came down for a “girls” trip with my sister and nieces. This is my 16th stay at the Cape. This home was very clean and well appointed. Offered some nice peek-a-boo views from decks. Very short walk to uncrowded beach. We had an issue with the AC but the host had someone there to take care of it within 2 hours. Only drawback was limited information on what was provided. Did not show that unit provided hairdryer, pod coffee maker, iron and ironing board. We brought items that we didn’t need. This unit has everything! We plan to come back next year and rent this unit again!

Thank you for the review. Honored you’ve chosen the Cape 16 times. Glad the home was very clean, well appointed, had peek-a-boo deck views, and was a short walk to an uncrowded beach. Sorry about the AC issue — glad it was handled within two hours. Apologies for the limited info on provided items; sometimes things get lost in translation between our system the VRBO system. We appreciate the five-star rating and would welcome you back next year. Have a beachy day!
We had a great time. Close enough to the beach and bay! Outside hanging bed needs less gravel or to be raised some. Well equipped kitchen! Loved the porch off the kitchen!
We wanted a quiet and a bit remote getaway for Christmas due to COVID. This house was great. Beautifully decorated, very clean and steps from white sand beaches with very few people on them!
This was the perfect COVID get away - beach was very close and good views from balcony, a well appointed kitchen, and lounge space with grill. We like to cook a lot so the kitchen and grill came in very handy! Only one complaint about the property is the master bed was a little to stiff for me. That could be easily rectified with and additional topper - the other two beds were comfy! For some reason there were a lot of flies and mosquitoes at the beach this time, but friendly locals gave great advice on how to tackle that. Overall the experience was superb, and our service animal/fur baby enjoyed it too!!!!!

The home was beautifully appointed and had everything you would need for a great vacation. The walk to the beach is incredibly short and the area is very relaxing and quiet. Short trip to the trading post (about 5 minutes) and everything you need is very close. Gulf Coast was incredibly supportive and effective, particularly Adam, in making sure that we had everything we needed and their app is very easy to use. Great stay.
