Hosted by Peter and Deidre Bruhn

We are a mature Australian couple. Peter is a retired professional having worked in over 13 countries overseas before running various businesses and companies with Deidre his wife of 40 years. After supporting Peter as co-director in business now Deidre has turned her skills to being a professional artist for the past decade exhibiting locally and nationally in various galleries and studios. Most days she is resident in her large studio on site listening to music and creating her art.
We love providing hosted accommodation to guests and have the ability on our large rural property to provide accommodation completely separate to our living premises in a separate pod only connected by a 12 metre breezeway giving guests 100% privacy and quietness. Guests only see and hear the bush and birds as do we.

Why they chose this property

Ideally, located in a rural setting amongst the trees and bush we are only 2 KLM’s from town in a No Through Road cul-de-sac street so we do not get any traffic but we are so close to the beach, shops, restaurants, cafes etc. If you want to brave the big hill on the return journey you can walk to town and back. However we suggest you drive and alternatively walk the other way into the large nature reserve at the rear of our property. It’s a great bush walk to a large lookout. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place.

Our location is unique as it offers the serenity of the bush but only 2 klms from the hustle and bustle of Dunsborough township. Most other properties don’t tick all the boxes.
