Great house for a guys golf trip! Lots of space, nice bedrooms, and a multitude of things to do! We loved the outdoor basketball court and had a good time on the putting green. This residence is so worthy of 5 stars. However if i could change 1 thing, i think it's time to resurface the putting green.

It was an amazing property and the hosts Gary and Jen are so awesome! They were very helpful and were easy to communicate with, they loaned us extra tables for our event and made sure the place was perfect!! The house was nice and clean and very comfortable. Amazing property!!

The property is amazing with stunning sunsets and sunrises with Arabians horses running all over! The owners are wonderful to work with and are very attentive to anything you may need or have questions about. The place has been newly remodeled and it’s breathtaking. Our family of 6 (ages 12-85) stayed here and had plenty of room, had plenty to do close by but relaxing at this spot was all we needed. The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and are premier horses breeders with amazing facilities. This was the real deal Arizona experience. The putting green, basketball court and hot tub onsite were amazing! Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to book again!!

Awesome AZ Wedding experience!

We rented Mcdonald Arabians home and ranch for our October Wedding and couldn’t have been more pleased with the overall experience! Gary was a great host and went above and beyond our expectations for our special event. Our guests were completely blown away by the beautiful setting and we were told by several guests it was the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to! Gary even let some of the horses out so our wedding guests could pet them and take pictures! It was amazing! The house slept our entire wedding party and was the perfect size. In addition, everything was beautifully remodeled! It was truly the perfect wedding/weekend! Thanks Gary and Jen for a wonderful time! We plan on renting again next year for our family reunion!

Host accused us of STEALING

Gorgeous home, wonderful stay until Jen accused us of stealing. I got married the weekend my bridal party and I stayed here. We arrived on Thursday 4/26/18 and checkout was Monday 4/30/18. On Friday, Jen stopped by and said hello. She welcomed us and even gave us beer! Super friendly! I couldn't believe her hospitality! However, she apparently left her keys on the counter, which could open all the locked doors in the house. With 11 other adults in the house I didn't even notice these keys laying on the counter next to the rule book until after my wedding on Sunday. My sister noticed these keys on Sunday and read the rule book. Jen and Gary's rule book states, "extra paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags are in the pantry or in the cabinets/closets/laundry off the kitchen". My sister needed some extra towels so being that the rule book states we can enter the closet and get what we need, she assumed Jen left the keys for us for that purpose. Separate and distinct, I left Gary a short message inquiring about the keys, just to makesure she did indeed leave them for our use. Later that night on Sunday, Jen called my sister (not me) and spoke to her for 35 minutes. She was frantically stating that we should have called her and let her know about the keys. My sister told her the rule book states we can enter the closets. In response to that, JEN TOLD US THE RULE BOOK IS OLD. Jen said that she could SUE us if things were missing. My sister mentioned to her that with the commotion of the wedding, no one even noticed these keys until our stay was almost done. These keys were her responsibility not ours, not to mention their rule book was "old"?! Jen entered the house WITHOUT my permission to get her keys and to look around to make sure "her valuables weren't taken". I couldn't believe her unprofessional behavior. I paid a good deal of money for my bridal party to stay here. I am SHOCKED at the hosts behavior and lack of professionalism. I will be contacting VRBO about this situation as well as her breach of contract when she entered the rental without my permission. -Victoria

Perfect property for our group getaway!!

A group of mutual friends that flew/drove in from across the U.S. stayed here as a small get together. The house is absolutely amazing and was perfect for our long weekend getaway. We especially enjoyed our time on the open air patio. Being able to walk the grounds and greet and see the horses was priceless. The property is beautiful! The backyard and house were outstanding, large and peaceful.

We loved our stay. The house fit 8 adults and 8 kids very comfortably. There was room for all of us to spread out during the day. The basketball court, hot tub and large backyard were a hit with the kids. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was huge and had everything we needed to make Christmas dinner. In the evening, the kids could play in the basement (TV, pool table, board games) while the adults could converse upstairs. Overall, a great house and we definitely recommend it as a great vacation get-a-way.

My husband and I stayed at the McDonald residence for our wedding and it was absolutely stunning. We were so grateful that they opened their home for our crazy group and allowed us to transform their backyard into the desert wedding of our dreams. We had 100+ people fit comfortably for the event and couldn’t be happier with the turn out. If you’re looking for a place to spend your special day or even a quick vacation this is the place to be. Luscious greenery in the back yard, modern updated home interior, and you’re right on the ranch for that small town vibe right in the middle of the city. Thank you Gary and Jen!

if you wanted to do nothing else but stay at the house, you would be relaxed and energized. the kitchen is beautiful and wonderfully efficient, the master bedroom is expansive and plush, the multiple TV rooms are comfortable, and the backyard is relaxing oasis to enjoy. and where else can you walk around a property and see over 50 gorgeous and athletic Arabian Stallions -- it is very energizing and at the same time relaxing to be near them, see them work out, feed them, and enjoy any newborns on site. Highly recommended property.

Very Very Impressive!!!

This place by far over exceeded my expectations. You pull up the house is on 5 or 6 acres or more looks so big. It's gated and such an amazing property. There are huge barns with such beautiful Arabian horses. Our family did an early Thanksgiving with my in laws and we found this gem. We were able to even take a ridding lesson and have hands on with the horses. Paid extra but, they had like 65 of the most beautiful show horses. Very equestrian experience and the staff on site were so accomadating. We had VIP treatment for a great price. They even had a place to get spray tans or eyelash extensions and make-up on site. Crazy!! good! The privacy was great house is clean and great bedding.
