Eucalyptus Escape is a unique 17 acre property, with 14 acres of remnant forest, perfect for the person or family wanting privacy and to reconnect with nature. The large deck looks out into the forest, perfect for those people who are birdwatchers and nature lovers. For those wanting the rural experience, the back deck looks out onto the surrounding farms. You can sit back at sunset and listen to the cows and watch the sheep and geese wondering down the road.
The space
Eucalyptus Escape is a three-bedroom private escape from the throws of life featuring a spacious outdoor deck area with a BBQ and a lounge area with an indoor fireplace. The cottage is well appointed for couples or a family. With three separate bedrooms, the house can accommodate from 1 – 8 guests in comfort and privacy.
Our escape can be yours, Eucalyptus Escape awaits your arrival. Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat to get away from it all, a romantic weekend with someone special, a venue for a group get-together, or a family holiday with the kids, Eucalyptus Escape can cater to your needs.
Accommodation includes:
Wood burning fireplace with some firewood supplied for indoor fireplace only (additional firewood can be purchased locally).
Outdoor Fire Pit (guests would be required to bring own wood for outdoor firepit, or collect fallen wood from the ground surrounding the property)
Wide verandahs on with rural and forest views
Open plan lounge, dining, kitchen area.
3 Bedrooms, each room is unique
Bedroom 1- Coming off the main deck features a queen bed and large picture window to stunning views
Bedroom 2- Another amazing room with a queen bed and French doors that open onto a private verandah (great for sunsets).
Bedroom 3- A crafted double-bed bunk, yes…that’s right a DOUBLE-BED Bunk
A sofa bed is available in the lounge area.
TV/DVD player with a collection of DVDs
Bathroom with a shower and laundry
Well equipped kitchen – hotplates, oven, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and an array of other kitchen facilities
Basic kitchen supplies including paper towel, glad wrap, foil, salt and pepper, oil, sugar, tea and coffee
Tea/coffee making facilities
Linen/towels with lovely eco/septic friendly soap
A variety of board games and books
Hairdryer and Iron
Small pets will be considered upon request
Limited mobile reception
Additional information
– Be WATER WISE, tank water only.
– BYO all food and condiments.
– FIRES must be put out before going to bed and before leaving the property. This is essential especially the outdoor firepit Adhere to local fire restrictions, and please do not use outdoor firepit if conditions do not suit (extensive winds).
- OUTDOOR FIREPIT - If guests expect to have the outdoor firepit going continuously they will have to bring own wood as there is not sufficient on the property to be continuously burning - there are local places where firewood can be purchased. Please do not expect to have all firewood provided for this purpose.
- SNAKES, TICKS, LEECHES - Be aware of snakes (particularly in long grass) when walking, leeches and ticks
-Damages exceeding the deposit will be billed to the guest and reported to AirBnB
PETS:
- Dogs only.
- Not in the house.
- Must not chase wildlife.
- Sometimes local council put poison baits on surround properties and the environmental reserve next door for control of wild dogs. Please be mindful of this and don't let them wander too far away up into the bushes. Never had a problem but its something to be aware of.
- There are ticks on the property which can effect dogs if they are not taking tick control medicine
