Stay in a unique part of Australia’s railway history. Our movable vans were used by workers building the railways. Our smallest van would have been used for accommodation as would the van which is now a bathroom, the largest van was a school. It’s just a short walk into the township of Nagambie. There is plenty to do from walking, fishing, swimming, boating, wineries and restaurants. We have room for boat storage.

Really cute cabins, very nicely appointed, comfortable beds with nice linen.Excellent location, walking distance to main street, shops and lake.Added extra of being pet friendly.Lovely bathroom with exposed copper pipes and corrugated iron. Rustic! We loved it!
Good for people who want to experience a historical vibe and aren't wedded to traditional motels. Warm, cosy. Outdoor bathroom and toilet clean and functional
Great place to stay. Loved the details and the history! Lovely outside area to enjoy a morning coffee. Just wonderful!
Thank you Penny for the recommendations for food as well, we had a great stay.
We loved everything about our stay. Beautiful little cabins with unique details and lovely garden surroundings. Enjoyed sitting outside on the warm summer evenings listening to the birds.
The property was perfect for us. I could not speak more highly of the hosts. They were so helpful and hospitable. The cabins are really cute. Everything we needed was supplied and if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. I highly recommend staying here. The property was close to everything and plenty of space to spread out. Thank you for being such good hosts. We will definitely stay again. xx
The property was so far from our expectations that we did not stay.
Very expensive, advertising was deceptive

Quirky needs work
Toilet door didn’t shut, which for an outdoor toilet it needs to do. No head on the shower and very dark in the bathroom with mirrors at very odd heights.
Penny was lovely to deal with. The location was perfect within walking distance to Main Street. The cabins were very cute and we enjoyed the outdoor area. However, our stay would have been a lot more comfortable with a few simple improvements. The mattress in the main cabin was extremely uncomfortable, my partner and I kept rolling into the middle so did not have one good nights sleep out of the four we were there. The ad states there is a kitchenette. This implies you can cook something. There are no cooking facilities besides a toaster. There was no heating so it was really cold at night. Having to get up to go to the outside toilet was not fun when it was cold and raining. The water went everywhere in the bathroom when you showered due to the awful shower curtain. The mirror was fine if you're 4ft tall. It could easily be hung at a reasonable height. Don't rely on the wifi, it didn't work at all the entire time we were there. There could easily be a latch put on the inside of the toilet to stop the door blowing open in the wind. Overall, I think this stay would rate as one step above camping. Fine for a one night stopover but thats about it.
We absolutely loved our stay at Penny’s. It was a unique experience to stay in these historical huts. We loved all the antique and rustic features. The property was very handy to town, being just a short walk to the lake and restaurants. The property was dog friendly which was a big tick for us as we love to include our two dogs in our adventures.

Penny was a great host, and the cabins are very sweet, and have a great feel. Beds were comfy with nice linen. Sitting outside in the sun was glorious. Would recommend for couples. Nagambie is a great place too!

We loved our stay at this unique place. Very clean and with everything we needed.
The cabins are absolutely gorgeous; we thought they were tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll from the main street. Check in was super smooth and communication was fantastic.
Very quaint stopover. Comfy beds and very clean bathroom facilities. A kettle but no cooking facilities however lots of choices for dinner in nagambie.
Loved these little cabins, such thoughtful antique details throughout. We came here because it was one of the only dog friendly places and were so surprised, the pictures don’t show how lovely this place is. You get access to all 3 mini cabins, which include all the required basics with a vintage touch. Owner Penny is very friendly, we really enjoyed our stay. Definitely a unique place, very cool!

Never stayed in a place like it, was so unique & comfortable. Just love it
Welcoming hosts with a nice touch providing our big dog with dog treats and a fenced area to run around in. Lovely old cabins - great stay with fire pit to kelp us warm
Loved it! Different to anything I've stayed in before but was very comfortable and relaxed there. I'd recommend it to friends and family wanting to stay somewhere with a difference. Close to town (walking distance) which was a big plus.
My girlfriend and I recently stayed in the cabins, it was the only dog friendly place we could find in town and it worked perfectly for us, there’s a nice yard for our pup to chase a ball and the room and amenities were nice and clean. Photos dont do it justice, it’s a cool place to stay would definitely recommend!
