A 5-minute walk along the shaded melaleuca path will bring you directly to the sandy shores of Yorkeys Knob Beach. The Moorings is a short 13 minutes from the Cairns Airport and 20 minutes north of Cairns City. Our staff can also offer help with local tour bookings and general regional information.

Along with the short walk to Yorkeys Beach, The Moorings is also conveniently located a 10-minute walk to the Yorkeys Knob Marina and Boat Club. They offer an open aired bar, a la carte restaurant, and free shuttle service. Clean, quite and comfy

Excellent place to stay, absolutely clean, quite and very comfortable. Close to beach. Even small and big size coolers are avail for your own food while traveling around.
