The property is still under renovation. It is not a place to relax. The workers smoked cigarettes and tossed their butts, blared their music, and operated a saw. Early on Saturday morning the fire alarm went off for an hour and no firetrucks came. When the owner showed up and turned it off he didn’t explain to us what had happened or apologized. The owner insisted there was a coffee maker in our room when there wasn’t. I had to argue with him to get one and it was insulting. And then the next day he asked my husband about the coffee maker. When we returned from the beach and wanted to start cooking our supper they were all sprawled around the fire pit with their beer and cigarettes. When they finally got the hint and moved they left cigarette butts all over the ground. We didn’t think we’d have to spend our weekend with men who are renovating the place. It was the worst place we ever stayed.
