Beautiful peaceful location. The property is light and spacious with everything provided for a comfortable stay. The wood burner was lovely and kept us warm through a very rainy weekend. Great base for exploring the local area. Friendly natives in the garden!!
Loved all the windows in this beautiful house that has views of the pinnacle. Has a great indoor fire place and outdoor one. Teenage son loves the bedroom that you have to access from outside. Very clean with everything you need. Daily visits from kangaroos and birds.

Good house, requiring some tweaking
An attractive house, it was clean and pleasant. there were a few minor niggles though, the lock on the front door didnt work. the woodshed was locked, its the middle of winter...
we were there for a week there were no garbage bags, 3 dishwashing tablets, insufficenet toilet paper. More care needs to be taken to brief the cleaners so they know how ling 6 adults are staying for....
House was - overall, very well cleaned internally.
Main shower had mould/slime in the corners though.
Kitchen and bedrooms were very clean.
The single aircon (in the lounge) NEEDS to be thoroughly cleaned. The filter pads are clogged and even the condenser fins are full of wet grime - a hindrance to its operation and potential for germ spread.
The aircon couldn’t keep up on Friday 27/1/23 (31 degrees), due to the airflow and condenser fin restrictions.
Also the bathroom has no privacy from neighbours - big windows (doors) with only a thin and translucent ‘cheesecloth’ style curtain.
As 2 small things, there wasn’t any laundry powder in the laundry and the spa bath had one jet with a missing silver surround.
The location was great, the amenities are also good.
I feel each bedroom needs seperate split-system aircon for the price, but still happy with our stay.
Would be lovely in cooler months.
This home is beautiful, super spacious with a lovely wood heater and wood supplied. Our group was 5 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect. The location is stunning, a comfy 25 minute walk in to the town along a bike/ walking path. The outdoor fire pit was fantastic for marshmallow roasting and the beautiful birds in the backyard were a lovely sight. Beautiful and peaceful location
It was a very peaceful spot to stay.
Lovely open living space for us all to lounge and out door deck to talk to the birds and kangaroos. The steps to the down stairs rooms not suitable for older guests but teenagers loved the private space away from adults.
A bit of a walk into Town but most was on sealed walking track and we loved not being in the hustle bustle.
Only down side was having to purchase matches to light the fire and having to make a bunk bed - sheets there but not made.
Would definitely choose to stay there again if returning to Halls Gap.
