Snowy Mountain Holidays provides accommodation in 2 self contained cottages on one acre in Towong Vic,. This listing is for both cottages accommodating up to 10 people between them
We are located in Upper Murray River country. Outstanding views and ambience. Quiet, unique wood construction with open beams. Each cottage being designed and built by us, comfortable and personal.
Cottage #1 - Sleeps 4-5 (6max)
1 bedroom with 2 Dbl beds
The lounge area has 1 single loft bed and 1 fold out sofa bed.

Wood BBQ
Reverse cycle air conditioning.
Slow combustion wood stove
Cottage #2 - Sleeps 5-6 (7 max)
Is situated above the undercover parking
1 bedroom with 1 Dbl bed and bunk bed
Off the lounge room is has an alcove with 1 Dbl bed and 1 fold out sofa bed.
1 Kitchen
1 Bathroom
Gas BBQ
Reverse cycle air conditioning.
NO WIFI - No Vodafone - There is Telstra and Optus mobile phone reception in both cottages so that guests can use their own wireless service to access internet.
The views from the cottages face west across rural farmland and rolling hills.
The main view over the Murray River and onto the Snowy Mountains from the shared viewing deck is a favourite communal spot for all to enjoy.
We are 10km east of Corryong, Vic where you will find shopping and dining. The Man From Snowy River country.
1 ½ hours drive from Albury, NSW,
6+ hours drive from Melbourne and
7+ hours drive from Sydney.
There is great river access just 500m from the Murray River.
Your dog is welcome here.
They are allowed inside if clean and dry, but are not allowed on any furniture.
Dogs can only be left unattended with approval.
Please bring bedding. There are nice walks and lots of river fun for them.
House Rules
Our property is in a quiet area and so it may not be suitable for groups who plan on loud partying.
We ask that socializing be quieted down around 10pm.
There is no smoking inside the cottages.

Canoeing - you can rent a canoe or book a guided canoe trip
Swimming in the river just down from the house

We moved to the Upper Murray area in 1980 and built our log home first. We built our first cottage in 1985 and our second cottage in 1995.
Why they chose this property
We love this area. It was such a wonderful area to discover. Each time we drove into it we felt the peace and tranquility. We still do!!
What makes this property unique
The Upper Murray and our property offer a "real" country experience. This is not a developed tourist destination, so you get the fun of experiencing a quiet untouched rural area. The views are amazing. Our cottages are uniquely constructed, ,cozy and personalized. Our quests just love the peace.
