Downtown Convenience

Well maintained, comfortable bed, very clean, large closet, walking distance to food, entertainment and trails. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

Astro Fans Getaway

My husband and I came into Houston for the double header Astros game this past weekend. When we arrived at the Hogg Building we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and comfortable feeling the building and our room was. We loved the contactless check in too! The room felt like a home away from home. We were only in town for a short stay but felt like we got to check out a good bit of the area. We loved how close all the local food places and the stadium was as well. We plan on coming back for many more games now that we've found the perfect place to stay!

Unsafe and poor staffing

I stayed 9 days for a continuing ed conference. I only saw someone in the office once that entire time. It took 2 days to get the additional towels and trash bags I requested. On night 7, there was an “issue” on the floor I was staying on that required 5 police cars and a fire truck. We couldn’t leave our units for hours. The AC was so loud that I never slept through the night. Couldn’t get my car out of the garage on the morning I had to leave for the airport because the garage gate was broken. Oh and the building code didn’t work.

What a gem!

We are in Houston several times a year because our daughter lives there. We decided to find a vrbo property for our most recent stay and feel like we hit the jackpot. Hoggs Palace is like finding a home away from home - beautiful, convenient, spacious - we can’t wait to go back!
