Everything was great and just as listed. We found our way around and found the property to be comfortable and met our needs. No issues. We loved our stay for our Spring Break
The property was nice and clean. It was sometimes hard to check in. The lock was not working very well but the owner was quick and fixing the problem. It was just a few hiccups but overall I will stay there again and all. It was super nice and super understanding. So the question is what I said this property again. Yes definitely. Thank you for helping us make memories that will last forever
The place is very nice. It has plenty of room. The only issue was using the community pool. The homeowner is selling the property and did not have the pass required, however, it wasn't a big issue because we found the lake has several places to swim. Overall, it was a good stay and we saw many different wildlife animals.

No pool available!
The VRBO ad and the book in the house indicate that there is a community pool and tennis courts that can be accessed for a daily fee just by letting them know we are guests of the Sells. This is not true! A pass is required to access the community pool/tennis courts and there was no pass in the house. I messaged the owner for more information and did not get a response. Being turned away from the pool-swimming pool was the low point of the trip for our family.

Cleanliness of propert
Did not receive a door access code prior to arrival. I had to call the property manager to obtain. Property manager was not aware that the property was booked for my days of stay. After booking with VRBO all the details were handled through a company called Evolve. The home had no clean sheets or towels and all the linen was thrown and dirty in the laundry room. House had not been clean from previous guests. I had to clean and do all the linen laundry just do my family was able to have sheets and towels for our stay. Property manager was contacted and promised to make it right but as of yet have not been compensated.
This rental was a disaster! First, the lock to enter the house would not open. The owner had to remotely open it from San Diego where he us located. The house shows a kitchen but the stove top didn't work nor the microwave. The coffee pot was filthy So there is really not an operating kitchen. The appliances were reported to the owner and he didn't respond and didn't fix them or the lock. The 2nd night, the lock didn't work again. It shows on the website a remote control to open the garage. No remote was found. The house had black stuff hanging from the ceiling that looked like mold and also in the cracks around some of the doors. One bathroom had a torn padded toilet seat that it being sanitary was a concern. With safety being an issue with the lock not working and no response on fixing it or the other repoted items, we left after two days. A refund was demanded and the owner was very negative and referred me to Vrbo. I submitted a claim and it was denied because we didn't meet their 24-hour reporting rule that's in their fine print. Needless to say, don't stay in this house because the owner doesn't respond to maintenance issues or trust Vrbo to intercede to make things right.
Good space for two families, within distance of a lot of different attractions
We really enjoyed the space overall, as there was plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 smaller kids. The house is tucked away on Holiday Island so it is remote and quiet. Quick 20 minute drive to Eureka Springs and 55 minutes to Branson area.
The biggest disappointment was the listing and the booklet inside the house indicated access to a community pool. This was not entirely accurate as the homeowners are now required to pay a fee to the community HOA in order for renters/guests to use. This was especially unfortunate as it was 96 degrees when we showed up to the pool house only to be turned down due to this issue. Not a great experience especially with children in tow. The property owner wasn't aware of the new policy , which allegedly took effect this year. Hard to know the entire story but overall no access to the pool currently exists unless a guest pass is provided to you.

Response from VrboOwner on 23 Aug 2022
Hi Brian, we're glad you enjoyed the home overall, but we're sorry you experienced an issue with the community pool. After going over your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:
-We apologize for the inconvenience of the new HOA policy regarding the community pool.
-Since your stay, we have paid the annual fee so guests will only have to pay a small fee per person to use the pool during the stay.
-The pool access pass is now at the home and we are working on creating an email with a digital pass to send to guests as well.
The owners do all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
Rocks covering driveway had to shovel drive. Animal poop left in master bath trash. Master bath tolet broken and seat torn. Microwave doesnt work. Criling fans covered in dirt. Dryer had laundry in it still wet. Dishwasher full of dishes. Outside Trash barrrel was half full of stinking trash that hadnt been picked up. Towel rack partly from wall in master. There were four of us who have been friends since grade school, we are 70 now. We had a wonderful time in this house. It’s four bedrooms were just what we needed. It’s nice that you only had to do three steps to get in and that the parking area was so large. The one bedroom with the bunk bed doesn’t have a closet but there are hooks to hang clothes on in the laundry room next door if that’s a problem. Just an fyi, the main bedroom bed is quite tall. There lots of hangers, at least in the bedroom I had, which was very nice. My bed was very comfortable and there were several pillows to chose from.
The home was very clean on the inside. We wished that the patio areas had been cleaned for our visit, but we just moved the fire pit and made things work. It was a little cool so we didn’t want to eat on the other patio or we would have had to sweep the big pile of leaves under the table. If you sat in the fire pit area you were guaranteed to get seed ticks.
While a lot was provided, we were missing hand soap in the bathrooms and a lightbulb was missing from a lamp in one of the bedrooms but we made it all work. I texted the person we were told to about those items and the loose toilet seat but we didn’t get a reply. I only texted once because these were minor items and we made do.
We all said it was a very nice home that we enjoyed being in very much. If we were ever to go there again we would definitely rent this house again. We appreciated being able to stay there.
House was very nice and beds were very comfortable

Awesome house and owners!
Had a fabulous time! House is beautiful and had everything we needed. Outdoor fire pit was perfect for s’mores. Jason was available for any questions we had! Would definitely rent again!
Very clean and neat property that was perfect for our motorcycle excursions throughout the area. Great location for all the places we wanted to visit. Will stay here again for sure. Manager was very responsive to our needs and great communication
We enjoyed the property and the many amenities. The kids enjoyed the hammock and sitting by the fire pit in at night. Very clean and nice inside. Great location and close to Eureka Springs and other attractions around the area. For 9 people (4 adults, 5 kids) a third bathroom would have been helpful.

Beautiful Home
This is a beautiful home. The contact was very helpful when we ran into a few issues that were quickly corrected. Our group had plenty of space to enjoy each other.
