The "Mountain Dew" property was amazing and just as advertised!!!! The family had such a great stay. It was a beautiful cabin and all of our family and friends loved the pictures we sent of the place. We even saw some bears near the cabin!!! We will definitely be back if we come back to the Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge area. The views were AMAZING!!!!!!

Stunning View
We booked the cabin for the view and it did not disappoint. STUNNING VIEW! Great layout.
The check in process was very easy. I received all of the necessary information early enough to be fully prepared. The home was very clean and spacious. My kids loved the game room! We didn’t use the hot tub because we visited in July. The cabin was close to all of the activities we love to do in TN. The first night we were there a mama bear came through with two cubs but didn’t disturb anything. I just happened to be looking out of the window. So cool!! Highly recommend this place.

The most stunning rental!
This home really was so incredible for our stay. We were there for a short weekend for a half marathon and I wish I could have extended our weekend just to get to stay at this home longer. It has some of the best views I have ever experienced of the Smokey’s and is very secluded piece of paradise. The home had so many fun amenities that we enjoyed and we cannot wait to rebook this property for next year to enjoy it all over again. I would recommend this property over and over again to anyone!
The cabin was beautifully furnished and offered stunning views. We absolutely adored the location in Wears Valley. The bedrooms were spacious enough, and each had its own bathroom, which was a nice touch. The water pressure in this house was noticeably better than in other rentals I've experienced in the region. Finding the house again was straightforward compared to other places we've stayed, and the drive wasn't overly steep. We even spotted a family of bears nearby, which the kids found incredibly exciting. There were just a couple of minor issues—some well-established spider webs on the deck could use a quick clean-up. Additionally, while it was mentioned in the description, I didn’t realize that the property was a duplex at the time of booking. This wasn’t a problem, just something I hadn’t expected. Overall, I would happily rent this cabin again, and we all had a fantastic time in the area.

Best views of the trip
Seriously! Except for cling man’s dome, these were the best views of the trip! And we hiked 38 miles! On the other hand, it’s a west facing window, so the afternoons are pretty hot in the living room.Place was clean, everything worked. Kitchen was a little small, but we made it work. Cooked all of our meals at the cabin with no issues.Worth every penny!!!!
We loved our stay! Christina (our house manager) was exteremely nice and responsive. The service was top notch. The cabin was beautiful and well provisioned. The views were amazing and the location was great for access to both Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg. The game room was on the bottom floor and a little chilly but they had already provided an extra wall heater and the kids never came upstairs. We alreay want to go back during the fall to see all the wonderful colors. Thanks for a great stay!

Family vacation
We had a wonderful time at the Mountain Dew house . However , finding it was a challenge. It is hard to find because it's not marked well with signs and no name on the house . Especially difficult at night to find . We had lots of lady bugs visiting us inside and outside. The view was beautiful! Kids loved the game room and hot tub. The kitchen is small , but it had all the pots and utensils we needed . More hooks and secure sturdy hooks in bathroom would be great . The loft bathroom had a sink drain that didn't stay open . One hook was loose in loft bathroom. Overall, we loved our visit! We would definitely recommend it and would book again.

From the owner: "Thank you for your detailed feedback! We ’re so glad you had a wonderful time at the Mountain Dew house and enjoyed the beautiful views, game room, its our favorite place. We appreciate your suggestions we’ll address these issues to improve future stays. It’s great to hear the kitchen had everything you needed. We’d love to host you again soon!"
The cabin was beautiful and the view from the balcony was awesome. The hot tub was nice and we enjoyed playing the games and pool.
There were two issues. The first was the drive to the cabin, the gravel pathway did not seem stable for our SUV we ended up parking in the area by the storage container and walking to the cabin. We had a lot of luggage so it wasn't fun, but we made due. The other negative were the mattresses. It was like sleeping on a box spring.
Other than that we very much enjoyed the cabin. It was clean, it was nice the kids each had their own space between the loft and the game room.

Mountain Dew
Its a beautiful unit(even though small) with gorgeous views. It can easily be 5 stars with some improvements. Location is great and the unit itself is excellent with Big windows, loft bedroom, beautiful bathrooms and unit decorated tastefully. Beautiful views from the decks. We did not use the hot tub.
Pros: Beautiful views, good layout and looks like new unit.
Cons: Lot of ants and other pests in the unit (kitchen and Bathrooms ). Our kids really did not like that. Major issue is the Air conditioner unit sound in the basement bedroom. The unit is right outside of the bedroom behind the headboard and the walls are paper thin. This is so loud ,we could not sleep or you would wake up to the loud sound. Major flaw. Hot water not sufficient when used by multiple folks.
Nails sticking out in the dining table chairs seat, not safe.
Suggestions to the owner:
1.Need bigger and better towels, even kids cant fit in those towels, they are really cheap quality too.
2.Stock up more trash bags, dish washing tabs, laundry detergent, towels for the length of the stay.
3.Ice tray's are also super cheap and flimsy. They broke and not safe.
4.Looks like water line not hooked to the fridge water dispenser, it will be a big plus if hooked up.
5.Please invest a lil more in the towels and other lil stuff and this unit deserves a 5 star.
Beautiful cabin with a nice view. Very cozy and lots of entertainment
Very easy process to book and check in. Lots of space and everything we needed was included. A little distance between the cabin and main attractions but that is what we prefer. The view was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.
