Property was quaint and full of memorabilia- maybe a little like a step back in time. A couple of things didn’t work ( switches) but minor really. We had a great time visiting such a historical and beautiful part of South Australia. We appreciated all the little extras left by the owner- teas, coffee, oj, chocolates etc. a big thank you.
Authentic cottage beatifully furnished and decorated. Cosy and close to town. Plenty of provisions provided. Perfect for those who want an authentic Burra experience
for those who
Charming little old cottage, tastefully decorated with period decor and furniture. I did initially expect there to be an actual fire but realised after reading reviews it was electric. We were warm enough with the heating provided. Gorgeous little rear cottage garden too. Would definitely stay again.
Really missed the open fire i was understanding was going to be there when it was electric. Was very greatfull for heater in outside bathroom. But had a lovely time.
The cottage was full of history. But personally it was to much for me
The cottage was in a wonderful area. The garden was very pretty and full of beautiful colour.I thought a bit more cleaning would have been good. There was dead dry flowers on the lounge room floor. And it looked like the vaccumming may have been forgotten. The bathroom could have had a bit for done as well.Dry soap was still on the sink and the window sill was quite messy.
Loved our stay in this heritage cottage, very well stocked, very clean and very comfortable cosy beds. Loved that there was plenty of books on history of the town. We loved the ‘Step back in time’ experience. We will return.
