Lovely rural setting

This property is a great place for a family or a group of friends to gather at. It is located in a rural setting, so it is quiet, however the location gives you easy access to nearby cities and wineries. If you like to cook, this house is well equipped so making meals for a family was easy. The yard has everything you would like to enjoy the outdoors:chairs; table; loungers; fire pit; and grill. It also has a beautiful assortment of flowers that bring new color every day. We have dogs and they enjoyed the setting and being able to walk safely down the driveway. Our family loved being together and felt this was the best home we have rented. We would gladly rent it again!

Wonderful Vacation Spot

Our group of 9 (two families with five kids total) had a wonderful time for the long weekend. The property was just as advertised and there was plenty of room to run around, explore and get some much needed relaxation. It was peaceful, which is what we were looking for, and there are plenty of wineries nearby as well as a local market to get fresh food to prepare in the amazing kitchen. I would highly recommend this property!

Great Family Weekend

The Yellow Barn Farm was ideal for our family of 8 to spend the weekend celebrating a special birthday. House was well appointed; top of the line appliances, excellent pots and pans, plenty of towels, etc. Location of the Farm is excellent - nice views, sense of country but close enough to activities and towns.

Excellent house - outdoor living needed sprucing up

The house and barn living areas were wonderfully decorated, clean and had everything needed to stay/cook/relax. The outside living spaces lacked a move in once over - cobwebs on the outside furniture, propane was low or gone in fire pits. Patio areas were messy with dead flower blooms. Not really a deal breaker, but we wish we would have pointed this all out to the greeter the day of check in and had it all fixed that day (Thursday afternoon). We were not able to get someone there until Saturday a.m. to try and fix it all. All in all this property is wonderful and a perfect setting to gather with family. Perfect location to towns surrounding - Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Ballard, and especially Solvang downtown.
