After laying on the sugar white beach and enjoying the waves lapping at your feet you are mere feet away from the refreshing pool to cool off or relax in a lounge chair. The historic Fort Gaines is within walking distance along with fishing, shops and Ferry Service to Fort Morgan. The Bird Sanctuary, Indian Burial Mounds, Sea Lab and Estuarium, and restaurants and shops are close enough to enjoy by bike.

The Beach

Beach getaway

This is our 2nd year staying at the Dauphin Surf Club. We have been pleased with the cleanliness, comfort and closeness to the beach and our family staying at a nearby beach house. It's nice and quiet. We highly recommend the nearby Audubon nature trail, and the public beach, Pelican point, with white sand, tons of sting rays and many different birds.

Great place to stay close to the beach

This place was as described in the listing. up to date and clean. The owners need to fix the ice maker, BUT we would recommend this place to any and all.

The property was nice though needed some updating. The beach was very small so we spent most of our time at the public beach up there road. Which was totally doable.
