Summary: Stunning 1,200 square foot top-floor corner penthouse with oversize windows, an open layout, and dramatic city and lake views in multiple directions. This bright and modern two bedroom, one bathroom apartment is perfect for travelers looking for a stylish escape in the sky in downtown Chicago just off the Magnificent Mile and the lakefront. The building has great amenities including an amazing rooftop terrace with 360 degree views of the skyline and the lake. This is the best location in the city!
The Space: Located on the top floor in a secure, high-end building in the center of Chicago! Once inside, you're greeted by a light-filled space with large windows overlooking the lakefront, beaches, and the neighborhood.
Interior design is a passion of ours and the chic furnishings reflect that! There is fast internet, a smart TV with Roku, and comfortable modern furniture to lounge on.
The kitchen and living room are open and very spacious. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and all the tools you need to cook a great meal. We have 2 counter stools for the kitchen and a 4 person dining table. Plenty of room to dine comfortably or to use as a workspace.
For each guest, the comfortable beds have crisp, clean linens and the bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and bath products. Sleeping arrangements are as follows:

We also provide towels, iron, cleaning supplies, etc. and you have full access to the building's 24/7 laundry room (card operated). The apartment has ample closet space.
The building has a doorman and great amenities including a gym, a rooftop terrace with sun beds and lounge seating, a gourmet coffee shop, and an indoor club room with a pool table that can be enjoyed during colder weather. The panoramic city and lake views from the rooftop are truly awesome year-round!
Guest Access: You'll have complete and private access to our apartment. You will also have access to all of the building's shared amenities (rooftop deck, gym, club room, business center, etc).
The Neighborhood: Located in a leafy, upscale neighborhood just off Michigan Avenue in one of the most central locations in the entire city! You are surrounded by world-class architecture, shopping, beaches, parks, and other sites within walking distance. From our place, you can easily walk to the Magnificent Mile, Oak Street Beach, the Lakefront Trail, River North, and Navy Pier as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes. Attractions such as the Art Institute, the Central Loop district, Lincoln Park, and the West Loop restaurant row are only a 5-10 minute ride away.
Getting Around: Our place is surrounded by trains and buses that will take you anywhere in the city you want to go! Uber and Lyft is also available 24/7. You'll have no trouble getting around without a car.
Parking is not included with our listing, but our building has its own parking garage and there are other garages close to our building (within 2 blocks). We suggest using SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book discounted parking. You can usually find reasonable overnight parking for $15 to $30.
Other Things to Note: Dogs allowed with prior approval only. Please inquire about breed restrictions. 35 pound weight limit. $35/night per pet fee applies. Unauthorized pets will incur a $500 fee.

The location was great - very walkable for almost everything. Finding parking nearby was not a problem. We did wish there were kleenex in the unit, but other than that it had most everything we needed. The amenities in the lobby were super handy and the rooftop deck would have been great in better weather so someone looking for a great location with some shared outdoor space should definitely keep this unit in mind.
This is a terrific, spacious, and well-appointed top-floor 2BR condo with water views from both bedrooms (through neighboring buildings in one bedroom). Short walk to Michigan Ave and to the Gold Coast. Even shorter walk to the beach, and a 20-minute walk to the river. Very easy access to Uber/Lyft (the building has a small, semi-circular driveway).
Incredible location and super easy to access. The unit is more than enough space for 6 of us, including 2 children. I would highly recommend this location to anyone interested.
it is all about the neighborhood. walking distance to north end of the magnificant mile. the neighborhood is cute, quiet, and walkable. you can see the lake from the unit and there is a little convienent store up the block which was nice. coffee shop in building as well. the unit is clean, easy access, perfect base camp. I would book this again if and when I head back to chicago. rooftop patio is an awesome perk. one small minimal compaint, two words, blackout curtains. those would make this place absolutely amazing. still, at the price, a perfect place to call home when away from home
We loved this place so much! It was very conveniently located. The furniture, decor all was perfect!! We were lucky to have found it. There is a very convenient gym, laundry room, club room (with games) and a beautiful terrace that is available for the guests.
Rather than rent multiple hotel rooms to house my husband and me, my mother, and my teen on a multi-night stay in Chicago, I decided to look for a property centrally located to all the tourist attractions we wanted to see and that would offer space and sleeping arrangements for all plus a kitchen/dining area for breakfasts or other meals in. We found it, plus big windows that made the place light and airy and a building attendant who made us feel welcome. Also, the management company was just a text away, if needed, and the instructions about how to enter/leave the property were very clear.
The location is perfect!!! Close to everything. You can walk to all the touristy places. Its a nice treat to have a coffee shop in the building. Very safe neighborhood. The view from apartment is stunning
The apartment is in a great location and has nice views of the lake. A plus is the rooftop which we took advantage of! Check-in and check-out were super easy. I highly recommend the apartment. It had plenty of room for 4 adults.

this property was exactly as described. it was a great penthouse with amazing views - one block from the lake and 2 blocks from the amazing shopping on the mag mile. also schedule your 360 deck at the john hancock. Amazing views
The property was great - penthouse with easy access to the rooftop patio. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to take full advantage of the patio, but it was very nice and would be great on a warm sunny day. Pictures of the property are accurate and it is a great place for 3-4 people to stay. Lots of food and drink within walking distance and a short Uber ride to plenty of tourist attractions. I would return for another stay.
This condo is in a terrfic location The people there were friendly . It was very easy to get the key and get into the unit . The beds were comfy and the kitchen was great for us . The roof top was lovely especially when the fire poit was on . Wish we had been able to turn it on

Hi, we are extremely disappointed that you left a 2 star review that hurts this property's rating. Please allow us to publicly address what happened. Upon your checkout, you left behind a small item in the refrigerator and contacted us several hours later asking to retrieve the item, at which point our housekeepers had already disposed of it. You were very upset (and rude to our team), but it is not our fault that you left behind these items and waited to contact us. We try very hard to deliver an enjoyable experience for every guest and earn a positive 5 star review. This otherwise fantastic, highly rated listing should not be penalized because of your mistake.
The email that is sent before check in comes with photos explaining the process very clearly. Vrbo is very clean. Great views down to the lake. Building is older so bathroom is basic but fine for what you need. Extra blankets and sheets provided. Parking in the building was more expensive than we had been told. $48/day for an SUV. Good coffee shop on the first level.
The apartment is nice, the views are beautiful, but the building is not great and we had no water in the morning.

Hi Allison! The entire building had an emergency water shutdown for Sunday morning due to a burst pipe. We're so sorry about this - unfortunately, it was completely out of our control. However, this was very much a one-time emergency that will not impact future guests.
The apartment location was perfect for us and our trip. It's in Streeterville/Gold Coast north of the loop. The L is less than a half mile away and is in the heart of shops, restaurants and restaurants. Dollop is a coffee shop in the building, which was amazing. There is a small grocery and bottle shop half a block away. There are great restaurants everywhere. Oak Street Beach is just a ten minute walk from the apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was exactly as pictured. The views were heavenly. The roof patio was also also really cool. You can sit in the shadow of the John Hancock building up there, which is super cool The folks at the desk were all warm and kind and very helpful. Security was well attended as well. The only complaint, which is extremely tiny, is that there were limited glasses - 3 to be precise - in the cabinets. We made do with mugs, but I do hope the glasses get replenished so that it's that little bit more posh and comfortable. Again, the tiniest of issues since the place was otherwise completely perfect and magical!
