Stoney Creek Northstar is a quiet, well cared for complex offering guests access to a large, year-round pool and hot tub area and free, secured underground parking.
With recent, full-scale renovations and improvements, Northstar #123 stands out as one of the nicest and most sought after suites within the property. This two bedroom, two bathroom condominium is laid out over two levels with the living area, kitchen and one bathroom on the main floor and both bedrooms and the second bathroom on the top floor. Upon entering, there is a ski storage area, bench and entry closet. The deluxe kitchen is fully equipped and has new stainless appliances, granite countertops and modern cabinetry. The open plan living and dining area feature a six person dining table, wrap-around sofa with Smart TV (no cable, Netflix/Prime only) and opens out onto the second floor balcony with BBQ, patio furniture and a great view of Blackcomb Mountain.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a King sized bed and mounted flat-screen television and the second bedroom has a twin sized bunk bed plus a regular twin bed. Both bathrooms were professionally renovated and each feature showers and heated tile floors. There is also heated tile flooring in the kitchen and entry area. Additional amenities in this wonderful property include a high-end washer/dryer, a gas fireplace in the living room and high-speed wireless internet.

We liked the proximity of this unit to the check in area and pool. This location is close to ships and trails, so you can just park your car and enjoy your time exploring.
This was a great condo for our family of 5. Updated furnishings was a nice touch and the 2 chairs in the balcony are great for enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
A MTB'ers review:The condo was great. The location was excellent. The master bed was very comfortable. The bunk bed room mattresses should be updated. They still served thier purpose and wouldnt stop me from re-booking.The kitchen met basic needs. Very little food storage and all the pots and pans are useless. I travel with my own as anyone who stays in VRBO's knows that this is common. Most people just suck and dont spend anytime cleaning other peoples pans. I don't begrudge the condo for this issue. It was about a 7 minute ride to the gondola.This place was great for families and friends and any non-mountain biker shouldnt hesitate. 5 stars.Heres the MTB'er part. The 4 stars for cleanliness is due to the Parking Garage and specifically THE BIKE CAGES. Filthy, filled with POS bikes that are rusted out and havent been touched in a decade. They should order all residents to remove non functioning bikes, which is 70% of them. Chaining was clumsy, the bikes are piled on top of each other, there was very little space available. This appears to be the last priority of the management company.That being said, some people did take their bikes into the unit and lock them on the back porch. The cage was secure. I had no theft concerns during our one week stay. There is no access to running water outside. No bike cleaning touch ups to be had. I was relegated to the garage for service work. Great place, would stay again, but as a MTB'er, I will look for alternatives next year.
The condo was exactly as it looked online, and was very well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return! Only thing I'd add would be a small laundry basket to bring items to and from the washer/dryer and maybe extra paper towels. All else was great!
Perfect location and nicely upgraded unit. Definitely above average for these kinds of units. Living room furniture was great and kitchen waa very well appointed. We would definitely stay here again.
The unit is fully renovated and a great size for a family of 4 or 5. Also close to the pool and hot tub. Shopping and restaurants are across the street. The free shuttle bus to go skiing is also across the street. The kids bedroom would benefit from some blackout curtains like the master bedroom has. Overall a very nice unit, equipped with really everything you need at a high quality. We’ll come back!
