Awesome stay

Nice spot on the lake

We stayed for 3 nights and loved the location! The check in process involved a form and uploading of ID which was a little off putting and possibly due to bad experiences with previous tenants. The coffee machine was also broken when we arrived and make sure you bring all your essentials - milk , tea coffee etc. The bed was super comfortable and the location right on the lake is superb. I ran with the dog by the lake and he loved it. Also great for cycling and you can hire a boat if you’re feeling adventurous.

Very disappointing

Unkempt and neglected old property with definite safety issues. Obviously not inspected by the property management, or I should think acceptable to be on the Stayz website. List too long to complete, the only thing going for the property was the position overlooking Lake Macquarie.

Not a winter property. Air conditioner still not ,working, back up heater doesn't work, stove is not great, microwaveplate doesn't fit, no spare blankets. I feel totally ripped property not worth what we paid. Financial compensation would be appreciated.thanks

Regarding your concerns: - Linens and blankets were available as per your booking for two people. -The air conditioner was checked by a technician, who found no issues upon inspection and reported user error as a possibility. -All appliances, including the stove and microwave, are regularly checked and were found to be in working order before and after your stay with us. While these issues don't meet the criteria for a refund per our t&c's, we do hope you consider staying with us again, perhaps in the summer next time. :)

Relaxing stay

This house was ideal for our stay. We needed a relaxing break, and this was the right place for it. Loved looking out the picture windows, straight onto the lake! And there is a beautifully maintained grassy area behind all the houses that runs along the edge of the lake, perfect for walks. The house was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. We hope we can come back again. Thank you!
