About this property
Condo# 401 Beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico
Schedule your escape to Siesta Key Beach in the bright and clean Unit 401. This top floor, end unit has an open floor plan with a lanai that faces the Gulf. After a long day at the beach, dine on the lanai or sip your favorite beverage while people-watching and gazing at the sunset. Inside 401 you will find a large open kitchen that will satisfy everyone, from those who want to chef during vacation, to those who want to simply make a good cup of coffee or blend drinks. Guests value having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, private wifi, Infinity cable, streaming options, and a fun, beachy décor.
The location of this condo is its best feature. It literally overlooks the entrance to the famous Siesta Key Beach. While many condos up and down the Key have beach access, only the public beach has lifeguards. Having a lifeguard to watch over my family was the primary reason that we that chose La Siesta. In addition to safety, you will never waste a minute hunting or paying for parking. Before coming to La Siesta, our family had to circle the parking lot over and over, stressing and wasting precious beach time, just to find a parking spot. Your beach experience starts pleasantly, by packing your little beach wagon with beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella—all provided at no extra cost. After crossing the street, you enter the hub of the beach. On your left is a snack bar. Grab an adult slushy before stepping onto the powdery, white sand and heading out to the beautiful blue/green, warm Gulf water. And all Siesta Key sand is not equal. This location is known for its powdery, white sand. Lastly, bring your tennis and pickleball racquets! There are free, public courts a ½ block down the street.
Do your homework on the timing of your vacation because a variety of events are held on the Siesta Key Beach. There are college volleyball competitions, 5Ks, world class sand sculpting events, concerts on the beach, seafood festivals, Drum Circle, and 4th of July fireworks that you can watch, almost at eye level, from this unit. A huge advantage for our guests is the option to duck into the condo, if an unexpected shower moves through the area, and pop back out when the sun returns. Most beach and event goers huddle under their beach umbrellas or cram into their cars to wait it out.
Another advantage you have as a guest at La Siesta is your own free, covered parking spot. However, with this location you don’t need to rent a car because restaurants are within walking distance or accessible through the local free shuttle service that stops right in front of this unit! If you like to travel light, you will appreciate that bath towels, sheets, kitchen tea towels, and even beach towels are provided. On-site laundry can make flying with only a carryon an option for light packers.
La Siesta Condo Association is a well-run establishment with in-house support if you face any challenges during your stay. With its proximity to the water, the beautiful pool, the use of the club house, and comfortable condos, staying at La Siesta is one of the best values on the island. We invite you to book your visit to Siesta Key Beach in Unit 401. The size, supplies that are provided, and location of this condo make it a perfect stay for a week or a few months! Whether you book our condo or find another-- come to Siesta Key—it is a treasure.
