Lancelin By The Dunes - Low Mid Week Rates!

This is the perfect getaway to accommodate 2 or more families. Facing east, nothing separates you and the dunes. Enjoy tranquil sun or moon rises over the dunes from the balcony while listening to birdsong. After a morning catching waves at Back beach, rinse off at the outdoor shower and pick some aloe vera to tend to any excess sun exposure. Spend the afternoon relaxing........with two indoor living areas, a large fenced backyard and a games room/mancave, there is a space to suit kids of all ages.

This well presented home has five bedrooms with a variety of sleeping options for young families or those with older kids. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs, each with a queen bed. In addition to the queen bed, there is a single bed in one of the bedrooms, and a bunk bed in another. On this floor, there is a shared bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite. A second bedroom has a queen bed. On this level, there is a living area with a TV and games, which opens up to the balcony. There is also a separate toilet on this floor.

The sports bar has a large smart TV, extra fridge and freezer space, games for kids of all ages, and another bathroom.

Only a short 1.5 hrs from Perth, Lancelin is an easy getaway. Plenty of parking at the house for cars and the big kids' toys - boats, buggies and bikes. Nothing is very far in Lancelin, so bring your push bikes to get around town.

Great location and house has all the amenities you need for a great stay. Cleanliness of the house was poor when we arrived which was disappointing but we still had a fun stay in Lancelin.

Great family holiday house

This house had everything we needed for a multigenerational family group to enjoy both time together and some space apart when needed! Location was great, we walked or rode bikes wherever we needed to go. Communication with the owners was just right too.

Great couple of nights away, plenty of room for everyone, the shed was a bit hit with the table tennis, darts, TV and games table. House was well catered for. Would stay again in the future.

We went as a family for Christmas and my 70th birthday. Location was great. The property delivered on its facilities, but the house was quite run down. The property needs a damn good clean, we left it cleaner than we found it, which was very disappointing!

Awesome set up

Didn’t have to leave the property. Everything available. The shed was an absolute hit with everyone. Beds were comfy and warm. Open fire pit was also a hit. Loved and enjoyed our stay with family and friends for our daughters 21st.

The house and gardens was neat, clean and tidy.The games room was a great addition to the property and well utilised by the family. An easy walk to the town centre and close to the dunes. Some suggestions to improve the property would be to install a dishwasher, have a larger dining table, fix the downstairs shower to improve water flow and fix the barbecue as it was not hot enough to cook for a family. Overall it was a very nice stay and would recommend this property.

Friends getaway

The house is set up well for large group. We enjoyed the shed and the patio area. Plenty of beds which were comfy. Living areas have ac, but bedrooms need fans in the summer. Great yard and toys for kids, and great area for teens to escape to. Lots of pantry items. There was a lot of ants in the shed, followed them to a bowl of food that had been left on top of the fridge. The house is about 20 minutes walk to beach. Nice grassed private yard and great outdoor shower. Would recommend.

We had a fun trip!

The property is in a lovely area, so quiet and the view from the balcony is seriously amazing! We had some issues with cleanliness which we contacted the hosts about and they provided a very reasonable response and compensation which we appreciated. The place is in serious need of some love and care though, it seemed neglected. We had to give it a once over before we felt comfortable which was disappointing. The house is very well stocked with lots of things you will need plus toys for the kids which kept them really entertained. Lots of games and things to do so you can spend a lot of time in the house without getting bored. We had a fun trip!

Definitely recommend this property for a family or family’s. House has everything you need and the kids loved the games room. Plenty of parking The property just needs some maintenance done on it as both side gate hinges wouldn’t open properly and the main one broke first day. Front door wouldn’t open either the entire stay. Bathroom upstairs had mold in the bottom. Owners were contacted but still haven’t had a reply.

Perfect getaway house. Very generous and well stocked kitchen. Lots of room for everyone.

Our large family were lucky to have had this house for a three night stay and a lockable backyard for our dog. It was ideal for a big family with lots of room outside for play and a great games room to keep the kids occupied with table tennis, pool and darts. Upstairs there was another area for kids to hang out and have some down time. Kitchen was very well stocked with serving plates and utensils and a very generous pantry in case we ran out of anything. 5 bedrooms with lots of beds and two bathrooms with a hot water shower outside was perfect. No Wifi but that was fine and there was lots of parking. Only downside was that there was no dishwasher but that really is a first world problem. A massive plus also was the generosity of shower and bathroom products. Overall - a great place to stay. Thank you to the owners!
