This is a newly renovated, 505 sq ft. apartment. It has 1 Bedroom, 1 bath and a private back patio on the ground floor. There is plenty of private gated parking in back. Enjoy the views of Downtown from our shared rooftop patio! PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WE HAVE A 30 DAY MINIMUM

Guests will have free private parking out back with 24 hour security. Along with access to everything in the home. The day of arrival, guests will be provided with a key code for entry.

## Neighborhood

The property is located in one of the newer named neighborhoods called City Heights. It is tucked in between Sylvan Heights and One City, a multi million dollar development. City Heights is also adjacent to FANG and McKissack Park just seconds away from Fisk, TSU and Vanderbilt Univiersity.
This is a urban and fast changing neighborhood where historic Nashville homes stand side by side with new constructions. Like the Gulch or 12 South, this area once empty is quickly redeveloping. It has pedestrian traffic and people with a wide range of income.

## Transit

The home is centrally located, minutes from the interstate and less than 2 miles to all the popular attractions in Music City. If you're going downtown, I would suggest taking an Uber/Lyft. It's a short $6-8 ride! Save the hassle of finding and paying for parking :)

Absolutely the worst

I emailed the host 5 times before arriving with questions about the apartment. I got a response from him only after I contacted VRBO about the lack of communication. On initial entry, everything appeared OK, however after unpacking & being there a while, we noticed all the dirt. BR sink wasn't draining but did better after my husband pulled a glob of hair from the drain. Water standing in the shower where the soap & shampoo were, easy to resolve but should have been taken care of before our arrival. The small frying pan has some burned remnants & when I went to clean it, I found a lot of black gunk IN the faucet (looked like black mildew). It was disgusting & very unsanitary & once again, I had to clean it before use. I went to use the washer, there were a lot of old grass-type remnants in the bottom of the washer along with dirt all around the machine. It's as though no-one has ever wiped it down. The dryer wasn't much better, the lint trap was disgusting & once again had to be cleaned before use. The slats on the doors to the washer/dryer are filthy. I took pictures of everything before cleaning it & sent it to the host along with a request of reimbursement of $169.41 (host fee) since I had to do all the cleaning & he should have taken care of it before our arrival. His only response was he would address it with his housekeeping staff. No accountability on his part. We also complained because there was no TV reception, kept pixilating when trying to watch. Of course we didn't really notice this until our last day but when I addressed it with him, true to nature, I got no response. I addressed the situation with VRBO,( sent them all the pictures) who opened a file. I followed up several times but I have yet to receive a response, 3 months later. I have never had this horrible experience with VRBO listings.

Convenient

I needed a place in town to stay while my apartment finishes construction. The convenience of overall package, amenities, and location for the price absolutely cannot be beat. Owner was not proactive in communications, but very responsive and easy enough to deal with once I reached out.

Terrible communication

Ended up not staying because there was miscommunication on the property manager's end. He claimed it wasn't miscommunication though. I paid with my card and drove 14 HOURS to the place only to call and was told my card got declined although I got a confirmation email and it took money off my card. Property manager was no help. He ended up sending me a declined email about 15 minutes after I left that property to find a hotel. (After I told him I didn't get one) Horrible experience after wanting to sleep after driving 14 straight hours.

Terrible experience.

We arrived at the property on our scheduled check in date/time and the property hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom, bed dirty and unmade, and garbage in the kitchen and bathroom. We attempted to call the property manager and had to contact VRBO because no one would answer our phone calls or messages. Finally, the property manager called us and attempted to place us in another rental at a different property. However, he didn’t have the correct codes for the gates. After several codes and attempts to get in with no success we booked a hotel. Last minute hotels on graduation weekend with a dog are very expensive in Nashville. The property manager assured us we’d be compensated and our rental would be ready first thing in the morning. He stated he would call to let us know it was ready. The next morning I attempted to call him several times and once again no answer. I called VRBO and they would also not help me. VRBO’s stance was I needed proof of the rental being dirty. I was so upset about it being dirty I never thought to take pictures. We had to check out of our hotel by 1100 so we did and headed over to the rental. The cleaning person was in the apartment cleaning so we waited about an hour in the parking lot for him to finish. My husband did get a picture of him cleaning. It’s been a week and the property manager has never called nor compensated our night that was not spent at the property. Not only did we pay for the apartment that night but also our expensive hotel. Advice to others…avoid this property!
