My family and I stayed at this property for a week and our experience was anything but “delightful.”I should’ve known when I had to make multiple calls just to get check-in instructions this was going to be a bad experience.Simply put, this place was disgusting. As soon as I opened the door, the place smelled unpleasant. Smoke detector missing from first floor, moldy food in kitchen trash bin, dirty and stained wet laundry left in dryer, and a kitchen so disgusting I would never cook in it. The property also lacked even basic supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, kitchen sponge, dish/paper towels, bed linens (probably in the dryer as noted above) and basic toiletries — all of which we had to go out and purchase.My family’s experience here was far from “delightful” — more like dreadful. And I’m embarrassed I brought them here and paid for this place.
We had a wonderful stay in Holly Springs while gathering for a family celebration. The property was clean, spacious and very comfortable.
Our site manager was very helpful, easy to contact and most importantly, quick to respond. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Holly Springs, NC area
House was clean and beds were comfortable but furnishings were minimal. Living room end tables were used in the bedrooms as night stands. There was no art on the walls. With the exception of one bedroom there were no mirrors. Only 1 TV in the living room. Minimal amount of towels were provided. Dishes were all mix and match. Cutlery was just thrown in a draw.

It was okay.
The property provided us with a place a sleep. The property was clean but as we reported to the manager the way the flooring was cleaned left an awful slick and sticky film. Hopefully they will adjust which products are used in the future. It was equipped as listed but not in paper products. It wasn’t an issue for us since we were only using the rental for sleeping but there was no paper towel and 2 bathrooms didn’t have any toilet paper. For future renters I’d be aware of the road noise for the back two bedrooms. The check in process was easy and simple and we were given contact info for the onsite manager which was nice. Overall it was just okay.
We rented this property with our two small children. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed when walking into the kitchen was black mold around the top of the microwave. I opened it up and it was all over the inside as well. This was absolutely disgusting. Not only could we not use the microwave but the dishwasher also did not work. Two out of the four appliances in the kitchen were completely unusable. We paid to have a fully functioning kitchen, which we did not get. I reached out to both the property manager and RedAwning, which is the 3rd party that facilitates the rental. No one provided any solution or cared to even respond to me. I was later told by RedAwning that the property manager confirmed everything was cleaned and resolved. That was a lie because nothing was addressed during my stay and if something was done after I checked out, I can almost guarantee it wasn’t resolved per health department code. I wanted to post this review because I do not want another family to go and stay at this rental without knowing about black mold in the microwave. Mold needs to be mitigated, this mold was in a microwave where food is cooked. A basic wipe down is not sufficient enough to resolve the mold. I am horrified thinking what could have happened had I given my kids food that was cooked with black mold. I would highly recommend staying elsewhere.
Could not come to stay due to some one came down with COVID
I had requested to change the date, but I didn't get a reply, and we could not come because one of our family members was positive for COVID.
I requested a change of date initial response was positive, but the owner disagreed.
I think this was a highly incompassionate act on the owner's part. he/she should have provided an alternative date. I have been using Vrbo for the last few years and have had good experiences; unfortunately, this was bad.
Limited TVs, only one in the main area. They had a couple of broken chairs and the outside trash cans were overfilled. No dish washing liquid and the dishes were dirty. Place was nice and big. Hard to complain but the money we paid for it I expected more.
Beautiful place with a very clean setup and warmth all around it.
Nice bedrooms which perfectly fits 8 people.
Kitchen has very little to no utensils + no groceries (no salt, no sugar nothing, so pack it before you go). Not a dealbreaker, but since wherever we have stayed before, they had enough groceries to get our mornings going. But again, we do cook food at home, so we had little trouble but enjoyed the patio and living area.
Overall, an amazing experience and would definitely stay again.
