Great place

Great location and wonderful house if you’re wanting to stay away from the busier waters. We had some issues with the appliances but the property manager was easy to reach and was working on resolving those issues.

Lovely family vacation

This was a clean, cute house on the lake, and the walk to the dock was very nice. The martini deck was awesome in the evenings to watch the sunset! We loved our stay here, and there were lots of things to do around here (HaHa Tonka state park was great, Bridal Caves were cool, and of course floating on the lake). We would recommend this cozy house to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in a wonderful location.

Hidden Gem

Our family enjoyed staying at this property very much. It is in a quiet secluded cove away from the main channel and all of the boat traffic. We were there for a softball tournament at the Ball Park Nationals field and it was only a 10 minute drive to the fields. We would definitely book this home again.

Beautiful home with plenty of space

We loved this house! The natural lighting from many large windows, the thoughtful design, and overall coziness cannot be beat. The beds were reasonably comfortable, bathrooms were great, everything was very clean. It's a steep stairway down to the dock, with no hand rail, but watching the sun set over the trees, reflecting on the water, made it so worth it. We would definitely stay here again.

Friends Retreat.

Overall the house was clean and nice. Plenty of linens and dishes. Loved the boat dock and elevated patio near the water. A couple issues need attention. Mattresses badly need of replacement. Especially the queen bed upstairs and the single beds down stairs. Queen bed upstairs had a 2” foam topper but still had a valley in the center of the bed. Towels upstairs smelled of bad body odor. Down stairs towels were ok.

Right on the Lake

The house is in a great location on the quieter part of the lake with easy access to the water. Our son caught a ton of fish right off the dock. The house is spacious and the bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was not clean and there were only 4 forks (it's a 4 bedroom house so not sure why only 4 forks). The pots and pans are worn out and old. The beds were not comfortable at all. The carpet is stained in many of the rooms. The hosts seemed very nice and sent us a welcoming message.

Weekend getaway

The property worked out perfect for our two families with the upstairs having 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and the main floor the same. The cozy back porch, martini deck and dock made it a relaxing stay! Would recommend it as a great place to enjoy the lake!

Great place!

This place was so clean and spacious. We had a group of 9 and it didn’t feel too crowded. The outdoor patio is so nice (perfect for morning coffee) and we enjoyed the dock and kayaks as well. I would absolutely stay here again!

Father's Day getaway

We arrived on Father's Day for a Sunday to Thursday trip to avoid the crowds. We found the house exactly as advertised- it was perfect for our diverse group. We made great use of the entire property and enjoyed the back porch and martini deck very much! The private dock was perfect for our boat, swimming, and soaking up the sun! You won't be disappointed when you book this house! We cooked almost every meal so bring spices if you are going to do the same!

Perfect family vacation on the lake!

We had an amazing stay!! We were a group of 9~ 4 adults and 5 kids(ages2-13). The house was perfect for us. We all enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. The deck over the water was amazing for the adults after kids were in bed. The house was very clean and updated. Location was great-close to plenty of local attractions and easy access to walmart for necessities. This was our first trip to the ozarks and we booked without knowing much. We could not have asked for a better house and location. With 5 kids being on a quiet part of the lake was perfect for us. We would stay at this house again!! Thanks for a great stay and family vacation :) We hope to be back again next year!

Fantastic!!

We just got back from a week's stay at the house and thoroughly enjoyed it. The 4 bedrooms offered plenty of sleeping room for our group of 8. We enjoyed fishing and swimming off of the private dock. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on both the house and martini decks overlooking the lake. We were thankful there isn't excessive boat traffic in this area of the lake. The house was very comfortable and attended to. The kitchen was well stocked (except for a picture to make the kids lemonade). It is a bonus to be so close to Sugarloaf Vineyards. We rented paddlboards one fay and kayaks another (best rates around). We also enjoyed a wine tasting with pizza one night and wine and appatizers another. Also close to Ha Ha State Park and worth the short drive over for a day of exploring. We also couldn't pass up getting ice cream at Scoops in Camdenton on our drives through. This is definitely a house we would like to stay at again.

Great home on a beautiful part of the lake

We stayed at the Brewer's home for a little less than a week. The house is nice and comforting, and dealing with the owner was easy and straight-forward. I loved the table/deck halfway down to the water, and the dock is perfect if you have or plan on renting watercraft. The house and property were clean and well-maintained, and the owner even called us to ask if there was anything she could help us with. I would give this property 5 stars if the beds and TVs were updated...they weren't bad, but a little old and a downgrade from what most people are used to. Location is perfect to check out Ha Ha Tonka state park (a must), and grocery stores are only a few miles down the road. Overall, a beautiful place and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful house in a quiet location close to a beautiful state park

The house worked out perfectly for our needs this past week. There were seven people in our group, and with four bedrooms everyone had plenty of space. The house was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen had a good assortment of cookware and appliances. The yard and dock were also very clean and well maintained. There was a lot of shade with all the trees. We spent hours in the water every day - the private dock is a nice feature. For me, the wave runner platforms were great for launching my 17 foot sea kayak. It's only a 20 minute paddle upstream to Onyx Cave and a 20 minute paddle downstream to Ha Ha Tonka State Park. We met the owners of the nearby Sugarloaf Winery at lunch one day and they dropped off some craft beer while boating the next day; good neighbors, plus you can rent kayaks and paddle boards there. We really enjoyed Ha Ha Tonka State Park and hiked there on three occasions; it's only a 10 minute drive. The location of your house couldn't have been better for our activities. Thanks for helping make our family vacation a memorable and successful one!

Perfect Lake Weekend Spot

Our group of 6 loved this wonderful house on the lake for our 8th annual "Cross Country Moms" weekend. Location is convenient to everything we needed. We visited Sugarloaf winery just up the road for great wine tasting and pizza! We also visited and hiked the amazing HaHa Tonka State Park. The house itself is neat as a pin, and our days were spent floating on rafts in the quiet cove. Katie was super responsive to all questions, and we hope to be back in Summer 2017. Thank you!!!

Very nice lakefront vacation spot

We spent the weekend here with our children and another family. The house is very clean and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners are friendly. The area was quiet and pleasant. Ha Ha Tonka State Park is less than a 10 minute drive. Highly recommended.

Amazing Girlfriend Get-away

An amazing place for a girlfriend getaway. Plenty of room of the eight of us and waking up to that view was breathtaking. The house was exactly as described and Katie was very prompt and helpful in answering our questions and giving us suggestions where to go. It's close by to anything you need, groceries, gas, etc. We will be reserving again for next year and we would all recommend Katie and Chad's place for a great vacation destination.

Great house on the quiet side of the Lake near Camdenton and Ha Ha Tonka

This was our first trip to the Ozarks so we didn't know where to stay. We found this house which ended up being on the quiet side if the lake near Camdenton perfect for our two family get away. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and the four bedrooms worked perfectly. Spent a lot of time fishing down by the pier and hanging out in the back porch. The pier worked perfectly for docking the 26' pontoon we rented from the nearby Rippling Waters resort and the kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming back in. They also enjoyed the river kayak kept at the house. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice, quiet location!

Clean/ beautiful home

My family and I rented this house for 5 days and it was perfect. We loved the location in the cove and also where we were in relation to town. It was easy to get to anywhere we needed to go. We spent several house laying on the dock and floating in the water. Our 3 kids loved it. We wanted to use the martini deck but it was so hot we didn't. The house was very clean. We loved the lay out. We enjoyed a few nights of all just sitting and watching a movie together and playing games. We had fun at Ha Ha Tonka park, the paths were beautiful and the scenery was amazing. My husband was very skeptical of renting a house I found online but he was very impressed and next time we would stay longer.
