Gorgeous property - great location

Loved staying here. Caroline was so friendly and easy to communicate with. The house is beautifully renovated and perfect for our needs. Lovely, quiet area, walking distance to the friendly grocer and the pub and some lovely coastal walks. A short drive to the beach (or walk if you are up for the hills) - and great little village. Would definitely be back - thanks again

Quiet, clean house with sea view

This house was extremely clean and had great amenities, including a snazzy washer and dryer as well as a robot vacuum. Very comfortable beds. All the gadgets you need in a house. Beautifully furnished with lovely pictures and paintings Kangaroos frequent the property. Would recommend. The one downside ( which didn't affect too much because it wasn't hot) was no air conditioning or heavy drapes, had fans though which was good. Close to a friendly grocery and pub also.

Ok but smells bad

Nicely renovated kitchen, living and bed rooms but bathroom smelt like a dead animal and the access to the shower was suitable for an able body slim person, otherwise plan to shower somewhere else. The outdoor seating is in the carport, don’t let the pics fool you.

Beautiful home

We loved our stay. The home is comfortable, clean and well supplied. We loved seeing kangaroos in the garden at dusk and dawn. Tathra was beautiful and a perfect place for a family holiday.

Great Property in Perfect Beach Town

This well-curated house is an excellent place to spend some time on the coast. True to the photos, this house is as charming as can be. Light and airy with a ton of natural light. The artwork on the walls, with local scenes by a local painter, really elevates the property when others might have chosen something less personal or mass produced. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the tools and utensils you could possibly imagine. Maybe too much, with literally several dozen utensils, enough to equip a banquet at Windsor Castle. Pots and pans for every type of meal, too! The adjoining living area has dining space for six and a small but nice selection of books and board games to choose from. The large wall-mounted TV is also logged in to Netflix and Prime if TV is more your thing. The bedrooms are also nice. The beds are comfortable with layers available if it gets chilly. The back garden offers views of the ocean through the trees and kangaroos grazing each morning. Like any property, it isn’t without some minor issues. In this case we had a couple issues with cleanliness. Improperly cleaned kitchen appliances and tableware, and some insects that came in the house’s open and screen-less windows and subsequently died. On the bright side, I did bring this up with the owner during our stay. She responded quickly and assured me the condition was also not to her standards, and would address it with her cleaning contractor in the future. I appreciated her open communication and assurances — thank you! Would absolutely stay here again!

Decor superb, includes everything you need for a your stay. Secluded bush land outlook with hiking tracks from back door Tathra is a charming beachside village, well worth a visit

So Pretty

Tathra is a beautiful spot to visit. Staying in this house was just so easy, walking distance to the pub and bush walks at your back door, plus easy access (we did drive though) to the beach and coffee shops. The kitchen has all you can need and there is a grocery store before the pub so you can cook if you like. Bright and clean it was a perfect stay. Caroline was great and I would recommend this stay to friends.
