We are ~15 min walk to the lake/ private beach/picnic/plygrd & tennis courts. The cottage boasts amazing panoramic views of the ravine with frequent visits of wildlife, a relaxing large sun room with sky lights. Friends Getaway

This was a beautiful stay. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Very spacious and the hot tub was fantastic. The hike to the lake was so nice and peaceful. We would definitely like to stay at this house again.

Great for families.

Had a nice stay here during family day weekend. The kids loved the hot tub, and exploring the nearby forest. Doug was very responsive with any of our questions. Our only complaint was that the dishwasher was not working, and we were not made aware of this prior to our arrival.

Great family spot

Comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Clean and coukd use their movie channel. Hot tub and deck were wonderful. Clear communication. Driveway is steep and was a little tricky- my only suggestion would be to leave some salt/sand in a bucket for the driveway.

Very quiet with wonderful treed area

We had a deer in our backyard which was great to see. Kitchen has everything you need. Roku on the tv has interesting shows, internet was good. Driveway is sloped so you need decent snow tires and it’s important that you can drive backwards, otherwise you can park on the street. The one room with multiple beds is dense, and lacks closet space, it would be better for 4 kids but 2 adults max imho, ymmv.

Fantastic property

Only 1 minor problem during our stay: the dishwasher wasn’t working (clogged drain). That said, the landlord did absolutely everything possible to rectify the situation ASAP and the rest of the experience was perfect from a location, property, and price perspective. This place has great value!! We chose this property over one in Fernie that was 30% more expensive, and money didn’t even enter into the decision. It was just a nice bonus to spend in the area! 3 of our party of 7 were sick the entire time, so we didn’t do much, but I’m looking forward to staying in this location again to actually experience a proper vacation. The location has so much to offer.

A delight!

We loved this place as soon as we saw it. Tucked in among the tall pines as though it had grown up with them. Inside was a spacious living and dining area with great views and a ton of personality. We immediately felt at home and didn't want to leave. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of utensils, pots, pans and spices. The bedrooms were cosy. We were treated to a flock of wild turkeys and tons of deer coming grazing in the back year. Our host was gracious and well organized. Definitely coming back!
