Beautiful stay

On arrival the house was immaculate, great location and close to everything. The house had everything we needed. Quiet area. We will be back.

The property was clean and tidy, the big windows and deck made it feel nice and inviting.

Although the property was beautiful, it was not accurate to its description, having no wifi or smart TV as advertised. The property manager provided a dongle on the last day of our stay, however we had international guests who were relying on it for their communication. The off site key pickup and drop off wasn’t ideal, nor was having no linen provided, having to hire it all at an additional cost and it arriving in the evening. Overall it was a beautiful place to stay however there were to many inconveniences given we had a newborn baby and elderly guests with us and needed a smoother stay.

Close to the coast and views of the hills

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After experiencing a problem with gaining access to the property, upon entry Castaway provided a very welcoming impression with champagne, locally made chocolates and bath salts being a lovely thought! The property was extremely clean. Our initial booking was for 2 weeks. The provisions provided were more than adequate even when we extended our stay for a further 3 nights. Balcony provided a perfect place to sit in the evening with a glass of champagne and views of the hills! Castaway is in a street where all other properties are very well looked after and is only a 5 minute walk to Chiton Rocks beach (a great spot to watch NYE fireworks from) and the Chiton Rocks Surf Life Saving Club which has a bar and serves meals. When booking this property I was a little disappointed that we did not have a sea view, but this disappointment was soon forgotten when we were there! Layout of property suited us perfectly (4 adults and 2 children).
