Loved our stay at Awakino. Jenny was a fantastic host, very easy to communicate with. The house felt like a home away from hone. Clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. Perfect for families.

Very clean and well appointed house . Left a vase of fresh cut flowers. Great communication with owner. My partner left her shoes behind and Jenny dropped them off at my place when she came into town :)

Great bach in Awakino

My friends and I stayed here on our way to Marokopa. We really enjoyed our night stay. The bach was very comfortable and ideally located behind the Awakino pub which has great atmosphere and superb food.

We had a great stay here. The house is well set up with everything you might need. It was spacious, super clean, and the beds were comfy. Would be perfect for a large group. The bach was easy to find and Jenny was easy to communicate with and really helpful.

Great Location for a Quiet getaway

The house is so warm with the fire going, Jenny is amazing and it has all you need to cook food but if you dont visit the pub 1 min away for an awesome feed. Thank you Jenny what an awesome place we hope to be back soon

We had a lovely time staying at this property as a family. Everything was beautifully clean and tidy and it had everything we needed to be very comfortable. The property manager was very communicative and helpful and easy to reach. We would recommend this property if you needed to stay in the local area.

Get together

This was our second visit and just as enjoyable as the first, what a place to unwind and relax and with the hotel across the road no cooking was required. Awesome friendly rural community. Thanks Jenny for everything we will be back.

Cosy clean comfy space. Fire going on arrival. Jenny went over and above! Stayed for party at the pub straight across the road, was perfect. Awakino is a lil treasure and Jennys bach is the perfect base to see it all :)

Awakino Gem

Took the family to enjoy the beach and stayed in this lovely property in Awakino just minutes drive to Mokau, absolutely loved the place, was so homely and everything we needed was here. Pub just a stroll across the road for dinner and a cold one, no noise disturbance from the pub or the road. Locals were friendly and a cool little swing for the kids to enjoy by the river just a short stroll away. Highly recommend this property for location, facilities and comfort value. Thanks Jenny for your hospitality.

This is a very spacious house with a lovely fire and perfect location for us. This is our second stay here and we will be back for more. I stayed here with my Sisters and it was a great location having 1 travel from Tauranga, 1 from Auckland and 1 from Taranaki. The beds are comfortable and communication with Jenny was great.
