Cottage Across The Street From #1 Beach

The Siesta Key Beach Cottage is located right on Beach Rd directly across the street from the #1 Beach in the USA. Walk out the front door and walk across the street to beach access #7 and you are on the white powder Beach of Siesta Key.

If you're looking for some lunch after a day at the beach, go out the front door of The Siesta Key Beach Cottage and stroll around the corner up to the Village. There you will find any type of food you can imagine. If the sun has made you thirsty there are plenty of options to grab your favorite cocktail while listening to live music while sitting outside.

Take the beach cruiser bikes provided at the Beach Cottage and bike down to the north end of the beach. There you will reach an old concrete pier you can walk out on and watch sunset. Beach Cruisers are the best way to get around. Park the car and throw away the keys. Walk or bike around the Key........leave the car at the Beach Cottage!!!!

Cottage Remodeled in 2026-Brand New Inside: The Siesta Key Beach Cottage has been completely remodeled in 2026. Everything inside in brand new.....everything. The outside has been repainted. The back pavered deck is enclosed by a wood fence and has been refurbished and repainted. Inside has been white-washed painted. New flooring throughout. All kitchen appliances are new. Quartz countertop is new. Bathroom has new floor. The walls and ceiling are new cypress throughout the cottage. New King bed and mattress. All furniture is new. Flat screen smart TV's are new. This Beach Cottage is basically brand new but the nautical decor and design has conserved that beachy laid back feeling to it.

This is not a condo........it is a Beach Cottage!!!!!

Check out our other property ID # 931257 right next-door cottage #1. That cottage we purchased in 2011 and did a complete renovation. Newly renovated again in 2025.

Dave, the host, was very courteous & prompt with any and all helpful instructions we needed. Above everything, the location of this cottage can barely get any better. Siesta is our go-to and the cottage enabled us to enjoy out easily. We only used our car for restaurants and coffee; any trip to the beach was just steps away. Great cruiser bikes were provided so that you don’t have to deal with parking at the shops. Cottage was clean and charming. Dave was responsive and attentive. 10 out of 10, would stay here again.

Loved Cottage #2 it had everything that I needed as a solo traveler. Dave was awesome! Dave was also very kind and accommodating, checked in at the beginning of stay to make sure I arrived alright.Not far at all from the beach also very close to the village. Comfortable stay in recent renovated and bright beach cottage that included details that were appreciated. Good patio outdoor furniture & new propane grill allowed us to stay in rather than the feeling to dine out. Beach access is within 5 minutes & used the sturdy beach chairs each day. Walking to the village is within 10 minutes & enjoyed the SKOB, MVP, Kilwins & a few shops. We used a sound machine to counter some of the Beach Road night traffic, overall a great stay.

This was an amazing property. So adorably remodeled! It has so much charm and character. They spent a lot of time on details. The host was great and had very quick communication to help in anyway needed. Loved the bikes and short ride to town for dinner. The beautiful beach was easy access and just across the street. Everything was at the house that was needed for a great day at the beach. We loved it so much we plan to come back soon. Thank you for the accuracy of your cottage and for being a great host!

Absolutely perfect except the fact I had to go home! Beautiful home and super clean in the heart of the village. Every home accommodation you can think of from toiletries to clean linens to kitchen ware. The decor is absolutely perfect. 3 min walk from all restaurants and bars. Came with 2 bikes to use, large patio area, and beach accessories. Communication with Dave was all that you could ask for from a renter. He was prompt with memos and replies, thorough with instructions, and extremely accommodating to our every need. Thanks Dave and I hope to be coming back!

We would definitely return when we go back to Siesta Key. The cottage is in a great location with being walking distance to both the beach and restaurants. You don't have to move your vehicle once you are parked. The cottage and property are extremely clean and has an old-time classic beach cottage feel. Communication with Dave prior to and during our stay was excellent. You will truly enjoy it.

We are the owners of the Siesta Key beach cottage. We live in Sarasota on 5 acres with our 6 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats. Dave is from Michigan and Tricia from Missouri.

Why they chose this property

Dave has been coming to Siesta Key his whole life. He lived on the Key right out of college from 94 to 97. When Dave met Tricia they would drive up to Siesta Key for long weekend vacations. Then in 2010 we purchased our first beach cottage unit 1 in Siesta Shores. Then unit 2 became available Kessel's made it theirs in 2026.

What makes this property unique

One of the main benefits of the beach cottage is location. You can walk every where. The beach is across the street The Village is around the corner. Another benefit is the unit itself. It is continually updated inside. From towels to dishes to furniture.

Most important is the cleanliness of the cottage. We clean the cottage after every guest ourselves....deep clean every time. Dave and Tricia are the cleaning crew we do not hire a company.
