We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely property in Sunset beach. The property is only a short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and kind community made for a wonderful experience. Well maintained and clean property with all inventory as described. Even a beach umbrella and chairs for the beach are available.

This simple and clean house was just what my guests and I wanted! Fantastic location, deck, porch and dock. The layout of this house was perfect for our guests and the kitchen had everything we needed! This house is CLEAN! We loved cooking at the house most nights, but if you need a recommendation for dinner--ask Julie at the Island Market for a suggestion!

Short 3 or 4 minute walk to the beach access. Place was very clean. Also - Loved finishing off the homes little dock in the finger canal. Home looks to be recently updated. Owners have done a very nice job with this cute cottage on the beautiful island of Sunset Beach, NC. We’ve already booked this home for next year.

The house is comfortable and relatively clean. Grill is rusted out and the canal/creek isn’t deep enough to dock a boat. Would stay here again but not for a fishing trip.

Property was clean and had no issues. This was a fishing trip so I had my 21 foot boat with me. I gave it a 4 stars because the dock needs some work. The house was very well stocked and it was an overall good stay. I would not recommend bringing a bigger boat in this canal it is extremely shallow at low tide and very hard to navigate.

It was cozy and clean!!

The house was super sweet, and very cozy for our family of 7 with enough room. We enjoyed the living spaces for relaxing and meals, and the screened in porch overlooking the canal was very nice. We could’ve used a third bathroom though, and there were a few standard kitchen items that were not in stock. We cook a good deal and didn’t have any storage/Tupperware containers to store cooked food. The refill valve on the adjoining bathroom’s toilet needs to be adjusted as it squeaks loudly when tank is refilling and continuously woke people up in either room. The ceiling fan in the Master bedroom was so loud we could not use it at night. Minor repair issues but overall we would stay here again.

Property was nice, Went fishing off the dock and also took my boat out a few times. The kitchen was nice the bedrooms were also good plenty of sleeping space. I was not thrilled with the grill it was not in good shape and needs to be replaced. I had brought a portable grill and blackstone so we managed, Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening. The outdoor furniture inside the house was uncomfortable and should be replaced with some more comfortable indoor furniture. Would have liked to have a table on the deck to eat meals there. We made due. no need to call for any assistance, we did enjoy our stay. I would rent it again because of the location. The beach was close by. Could have used a kayak but none available.

We loved this location and size of the house. Was just the perfect size for us and three kids plus the mother-in-law. Walk to the beach was only 3 minutes. The sunset view over the canal was beautiful every night. Excited to go back in summer!

Thanksgiving get away

My husband and I took my daughter, son in law and two grand kids here over thanksgiving. It was awesome. Kids loved running on the beach which is only about a 5 minute walk from this cute place. My husband enjoyed fishing off this house’s little pier since the house backs up to the canal. My daughter & I cooked a large Thanksgiving meal. Luckily this place has a large kitchen with a sit at bar plus a dining table that seats six. So it was perfect for our Thanksgiving get a way.

Quick winter vacation

We rented this cute cottage. Great spot. Backs up to the canal with it’s own little pier. Great views. A nice plus is it’s a short quiet walk to the beach access. We will return to stay again in the summer with our grandkids.
