About the host
Hosted by Lisa Harper

I am a semi-retired gal, baking vendor at the Weaverville Farmers' Market May through October and I specialize in Greek and American delicacies (also available to guests!). I am also a board member and grant writer for our local fire department, a Fire Belle, LAFCO Alternate member, and volunteer at the Lewiston Moose Lodge cooking, bartending, and waitressing. I love to kayak, grow my own organic produce and provide guests with memorable experiences so they will want to return again as a tradition.
Why they chose this property
This cabin property is beautiful and peaceful. It is well stocked with everything a traveler might need and is one short block to the riverfront.
What makes this property unique
Overall comfort and provisions with little details make my guests' stays wonderful. Guests have commented that the environment is very serene and quiet, with wonderful views of the mountains, open sky, and that it has all the comforts of home with everything they need when traveling. The beds are very comfortable with high quality seasonal bedding, all kitchen and bath essentials, bikes, a private hot tub, outdoor games (corn hole, croquet), 4 bikes, two hammocks, indoor board games, inner tubes, and rafts. The internet is fast and Wi-Fi calling works with most carriers. The Smart TV provides a host of entertainment, especially if you are a subscriber to Netflix, Hulu or other media modes. I also have basic DISH TV for sports, news, and DIY shows. Games, DVDs and DVD player are available in the cabin. The outside around the cabin boasts beautiful views of the mountains, open wilderness, stars, with significant wildlife in the area and by the river. Sit outside and gaze at the stars from the cabin's telescope from the porch or relax in the hot tub and melt your stress away!
