What a way to get away and in a place that the pictures did no justice. We got more than what the pictures showed. There was more room we could had used. I was at awe with there being a room with a desk n computers. My quests were so pleased with the footage of the cabin. This place had everything one would need. Laundry detergent and mmmm with a washer n dryer. All the necessary kitchen wear needed. My family and I were very pleased and already planning our next trip in this cabin.

Ruidoso Stay

The location of the house was great. The size was perfect for our gathering. The cleanliness was poor. It seemed as if the house had not been cleaned since the last guests. Floors had not been swept or mopped. Lots of women’s long hair on the floor in bathrooms and kitchen. Tables and counters had not been wiped. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Worked well to have a few at home meals. Carpets in bedroom were dirty and stained. Didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot. Not a lot of communication on what is expected upon checkout. For example, strip bedding, wash bedding etc. Honesly, felt we left the property cleaner upon us leaving than it was upon check in.

Family Time in Ruidoso

This property is very nice and we enjoyed the central location. Easy access to everything. The neighborhood was very quiet and well maintained. There are a few steps to go down to get in the property from the street and we weren’t expecting that as the property information said level access but it was manageable for our “Nana”. The carpets in the bedrooms need to be cleaned but everything else was very clean and tidy. We were impressed with the kitchen and the kitchen accessories that were available to use. There was everything we needed except for a potato peeler. So we bought one to “donate” to the property. The only thing we were disappointed with was the quantity of supplies left for us to use for the 8 days we were there such as only 3 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom (there were 8 of us), 3 dishwasher soap pods, 4 coffee filters, etc. Also, most of the light fixtures either had only one bulb that worked or didn’t have a single working bulb. We didn’t call or text the host about these issues but thought we would mention it here so it can be corrected now. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we would consider staying there again if a little “dorm” fridge was available downstairs for water etc. to make it easier if you wake up in the middle of the night thirsty. By the way, there is a bonus refrigerator in the laundry area that we weren’t expecting and we loved having it for the overflow from the refrigerator in the kitchen!! Thank you for a great week!

Great, but a little small in the living area for a group of 15.

Very clean and tidy, kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Living area, a little small. Could have had more bed pillows and kitchen chairs need cushions. But overall, a great place to stay.
