We really enjoyed our stay in this unit! It had everything we needed, even an umbrella, chairs and cooler, all of which we used daily. The location was perfect and the view was incredible. Would definitely stay here again!

Kihei Retreat at Kamaole Sands Resort was all we could have hoped for. The unit was beautiful and clean, and well-equipped with everything we may have needed from kitchen items, to extra towels, to beach chairs/umbrellas/toys, and was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed coffee from the lanai overlooking the pool and ocean every morning, spotting whales and enjoying the scenery. The Kamaole Sands Resort was gorgeous, well maintained, had a spacious pool, and very walkable both to explore the resort grounds as well as a short walk to a beautiful beach. We had to contact the host about something, and she was very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

This was a perfect final destination for our vacation. Walking distance to beautiful beaches and close to everything else we needed. The condo was beautiful with everything we needed to feel at home.

First time we stayed on this property and we will definitely come back. Condo was lovely with great view and within walking distance to the beach. Could use some updating, that being said everything worked and was easy to find.Overlooks the pool, and had beautiful sunset views!

This property was so beautiful! The view of the sunset was breathtaking. Having the view of the pool and hot tub was so pretty. The room was spacious for us. This was a girl's trip for us and everyone had enough room and loved this property. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

I truly enjoyed my stay here at this Maui condo. Everything was perfect from the view to the amenities, I would definitely return to stay here. Nice location to walk to beach and/or to dining. Nicely manicured grounds. Good pool with hot tub. On your own for activities. Our view was excellent to see the pool look out toward the ocean. Good place if you’re a planner and like to schedule your own activities.

Family Spring Break in Kihei

We had a wonderful week in this Kihei condo which slept our family of five comfortably (we made use of the sofa bed). The balcony of this unit has a direct ocean view and the beach is a short walk through the complex and across the street. Kihei is a great location as there are many restaurants and retail options close by and it’s just a short drive to some of the most beautiful Maui beaches to the south. We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious condo. Conveniently located in Kihei and across the street from the beach. Condo was well stoked & had all the necessary beach accessories. The unit has three air conditioners, which made it very comfortable during the warmer days. Loved the beautiful view from the balcony. Every morning I sipped my coffee on the balcony. Early evenings we enjoyed wonderful sunsets.

We love coming to Kamaole Sands with our family. This apartment lacked a few things like cleaning supplies, but the hosts helped us acquire these promptly. It was good to fit our family of 6, and there were sand toys and beach items to keep the kids busy! Agree with reviews that have said a bit of upgrading and repairs are needed (curtains stained from AC, baseboards loose).

The condo was just as described. It was clean and well kept. The AC worked well and kept the condo cool. The view was spectacular. The resort grounds were well kept and beautiful. Staff were always very gracious and pleasant. Location was great, close to many things. They had in the condo beach towels, boogie boards, some snorkel gear and beach chairs for use. The ease of check in and out was great. The property manager Jenn was very responsive and gracious to our questions. Suggestions- kitchen could use a few more staples such as a strainer and cookie/baking sheets. We would stay here again without question!

Amazing View, Location and Spacious Condo

This was our first time staying in Kihei. Kamaole Sands Resort is in a great location. Kam 3 beach is within walking distance, literally across the street. The condo itself is loft style and very spacious. The balcony has a beautiful beach view and view of the nice pool area, too. Watching sunsets from the balcony were amazing. There are clean and upkept BBQ grills you can use and has a nice table area to enjoy your food, too. We used the grills twice during our stay. The condo had boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs and a cooler for use, which was convenient and helpful. There were also kitchen, bathroom and washer/dryer amenities. We highly recommend staying here. We would definitely stay here again in the future and have recommended it to family and friends.

We had a wonderful time in Maui and the condo was perfectly located in Kihei. I really appreciated how quickly the owner responded and dealt with a small issue we had with the washer and went above and beyond to make the two twin beds in the second bedroom into a king. The condo had everything we needed and had a cozy feeling that we felt comfortable relaxing in. There was roof construction going on while we were there but all of the workers were kind and courteous. A plus for us was the palm tree trimmers were there one morning and that was fascinating to watch. The condo complex has beautiful grounds and an amazing view of the ocean. Air conditioning was an added bonus, not something you see often in condos in Hawaii. Also we really appreciated the brand new beach chairs and umbrellas. All and all, I would go back tomorrow if I could. Wonderful place to stay. The only suggestion I would have would be to add another chair to the living room and maybe freshen it up with new paint. The place was not cleaned properly. There was crumbs and left over open food in the cabinets. The showers and mirrors were dirty. There was a window in the loft area that could not be closed due to it being so high. We could hear all the loud people talking while we were trying to go to sleep. I was charged for what management called a “resort” fee upon arrival. That place is not a resort it’s a condo. In the description it said I would have a garage to park one vehicle. That was a lie it’s all open parking. The entire place is loud due to there being construction all day. I will not stay here again.

Our stay in this perfectly located condo was great! Close to the beach, closer to the pool, and great view of the sunsets from our lanai! We were thankful for the AC and appreciated the ability to add a couple days to our stay. Mahalo!

Close to beach and great pool for kids

This was overall a great property. It’s in such a great location with Kamaole Beach one across the street and two more beaches super close. You’re very centrally located. The place is spacious and well stocked. There’s beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards and a cooler to use. Beds are not very comfortable and the showers are not good. They are awkward to get in and have creepy bath mats that must be so dirty. That was our biggest complaint, so not a deal breaker but annoying. The pool and grounds are amazing and the view is awesome. One other thing was it was hard to get ahold of the owner. The AC was leaking and we let her know right away and we turned it off in the living room. She never had it fixed while we were there and I never heard back from her again. We stayed for 11 days so she had time to let us know.

Loved the location directly across from beach. The beautiful grounds had multiple grills and tables where we had dinner every night. Very convenient location to beaches, grocery store, coffee shop, and other stores/restaurants
