Stayed here for 3 nights with a family of 5 (including 3 teens). It's a more affordable option than many other options on the hill. With 5 people plus all of our ski gear, it was a pretty tight fit. It would be better for 3-4 people. Kitchen was very basic and made for some challenges when preparing meals. No extras like coffee/tea. Wish there was some welcome package including some information about the area. For simplicity, we skied in and out from the end of the road to the lifts (about a 200m walk). This was extremely easy and convenient. Not exactly the kind of place that you look forward to lingering in if the weather isn't working out for you. But, if you're looking for something convenient and relatively affordable, this isn't bad.
We loved this OG ski cabin. Rustic, yes but very charming. You felt like you were in a real ski cabin. Easy access to lifts and easy ski in. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Renovatedno. No heat. Minus 15c. We heated with the oven until owner provided a space heater and access to breaker box. No smoke detectors or extinguisher. 6 extention cords and we had to fix TV. Furniture old , stained, uncomfortable. Dangerous access. Owner responded to no parking situation but we learned our car was now in a snow dumping site as per their instructions. Top price for worst place ever. We are workd travelors
A sign in the unit says EAT SLEEP SKIThis is a good summary of our stay. This older unit is basic, clean, plenty of bedding, good shower. Was lacking some basics like a coffee maker and an egg flipper. Extension cords in the kitchen were questionable. Our group of 5 were a little crowded but had a good stay.
My family of four enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, with only a short walk to the village and good ski in/ski out access just off the Perfection and Mogul track runs. My family really liked that we could literally ski right to the building's back door (although I would not suggest this for beginners). The condo had everything we needed for our 12 night stay. It worked well and was roomy enough, although cozy, for our family of four (two adults, two teenagers, and our dog). Denys was a great host, accommodating, easy to contact, and quick to respond.

It was cozy and a good area to stay in and overall we enjoyed it. The shower was amazing, pressure and temperature wise.
However, there were some cleanliness issues throughout and it is just an interesting unit.
There was no coffee machine or paper towel, but lots of towels.
Basement flat in older building recently renovated. A few idiosyncrasies but overall a well appointed, warm, cosy facility well located for slopes and shops, etc. Access stairs from street level. Be prepared for a bit of shoveling (provided). Denys was an excellent host.

Wasn’t the best
The communication was great but even when we told the host when we were arriving, when we got there the person was in the process of cleaning. However the state of the place was not very clean and we ended up having to find a different place to stay in a different hotel.

The place had not been cleaned for a very long time. Flies, spiders and other bug everywhere. Not a place I would ever stay again.
Was not clean on arrival. Owner was reasonable and agreed to full refund.

Hi Carolyn,
Previous tenants had a dog and it was hard to clean all the hair, you have received full refund. Why to penalize with 1-star review?

Would not stay again
The unit wasn’t clean. There was a hairbrush full of hair on the bathroom counter. The kitchen counters and floors were visibly soiled with dirty dishes left behind. Too
much to waste any more time writing about.

Hi Ross,
Thank you for your feedback! We have changed the cleaning company after your review.
We enjoyed our stay at Denys'es place! It had almost everything we needed for a week, and a few things missing Denys brought the following day. Easy ski-out, and relatively easy ski-in (be sure to walk up to the 3rd floor and exit the building out back to know what it looks like from the back to be able to find it when you get off Moguls run). Quite close walking distance to village plaza, restaurants and grocery store.
Besides the place itself, Denys is not only a great host, but is also a talented ski instructor. My wife had some prior "ptsd" from me taking her on a green run after 2 instructor sessions during our Whistler getaway a few years back, and she was skeptical she would enjoy skiing. But Denys was able to get her to regain confidence and after a few sessions with him she felt pretty comfortable even on some blues. So if you need classes or rentals, be sure to check out what Denys has to offer, you will not regret!
Would definitely come back to stay again!

The condo was absolutely disgusting. It was so unclean and no cleaners had been at 5pm , one after check in, It was so dirty we did not stay and requested a full refund. I sent photo to vrbo and would never use them or expedia again if this is the quality of accommodation you represent.
