Located in lovely Brewster, you will be close to the clear blue waters of Jackknife Beach on Pleasant Bay, as well as the gorgeous oceanside beaches of Orleans and Chatham. Enjoy the quiet nature of Cape Cod as you make our house, your home, this vacation. Enter the home through the kitchen, featuring black soapstone countertops, an integrated farm sink, and stainless steel appliances. The connected dining room has a six seat dining set, great for a family dinner after a day at the beach. French patio doors lead to a carpeted four season sunroom with patio seating and a second dining area. A sliding door from the sunroom exits to a stone patio with a charcoal grill and charcoal smoker, overlooking a grassy backyard, the perfect entertainment space for a summer night.

Back inside, the dining room leads to an open living area with gleaming wood floors, an impressive wall of built-in shelving, and a comfortable couch to crash on. Walk down the hall to find all three bedrooms, each with plenty of closet space - the master with a queen bed and en suite full bathroom with another tub/shower combo, the second bedroom with a queen bed, and the third bedroom with two twin beds, as well as a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo are in this section of the home. Down the stairs from the living room, an open, finished walkout basement is a sweet escape in the house, with a sectional couch and a mounted flat screen TV - a fun space for lounging, relaxing, and watching a movie. From the basement, there are patio doors that lead outside and a walkway up to the backyard area.

Terrible management

No tv upstairs, lower level smelled like moth balls.. so we could not use it. Asked for a tv upstairs to no avail... manager never addressed it and we requested it several times. Lighting very sparse... small island pendant over dining table. Only had bath and hand towels... when we asked for bath rags, additional hand towels and some dish rags, we received more BATH towels. Communication (replies) from manager was extremely slow.... on existant on one day.

Great location; property a lot older than anticipated and a heavy odor

Great location and area. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to execute. Communication with Del Mar was great. They even agreed to a little later check-out time, which helped us tremendously. The one major downside (others were just amenities we wish were available) was the strongest, most overwhelming smell of old and must (like a place that’s been closed up and not aired out for years). This smell was so intense that it remained despite air freshener and airing out. It was on our persons (hair, clothes), our luggage, purses, books, kids’ studies, etc. Only used the washer and dryer once as the clothes/towels came out with the same smell of the house. Unfortunately, we’re now washing ALL of our clothings (including clothes not worn), throwing away reusable totes since the smell can’t be removed and wiping down all bottles, books, basically everything in our possession. This was an unfortunate experience as everything else was okay.

Great stay

Very clean and comfortable. Great sunroom, nice yard for the kids to play in. We had a minor maintenance issue and it was addressed immediately. The maintenance man was helpful and also gave great recommendations for local activities.

Beautiful getaway home

This home was a comfortable retreat in a quiet neighborhood during our stay in Cape Cod. The kitchen was well stocked and the home very clean. We especially enjoyed the sunroom. Centrally located, it was easy to travel to any other spot on the cape. Definitely a place to consider.
