This was the best experience, i had my 60th birthday here coinciding with the flower of festival and all my family Mark the host was so laid back and so helpful in everyway even supplying jumper leads when my batery went flatAnd also the farm feel was so relaxingWould definitely recommend for families
Fantastic farm stay.Beautifil old farm house, so homely and warm.Has all the mod cons needed.Large property to explore and great location overall - not far from Bunya Mountains. Heaps to do for all ages or quiet and srene to enjoy a book and some self-timeHost are lovely people who had great communication with us.Thoroughly recommend.
Family of 12 with 3 dogs and we loved the accomodation and location. Very relaxing and peaceful. The creek was beautiful with lovely pools for a swim. Will defitely return for a second visit.
My daughter and her friends stayed for a week and had the most amazing time. The house was perfectly prepared and Mark was a perfect host and great at settling them in. Thank you so much
Friendly host that explained everything at check in so we didnt need to bother him , amazong house with more than enough things provided ,especially towels, blankets , linen.lots of indoor and outdoor games provided , the badminton was a hit . So peaceful yet freedom to be loud in a group and crank the music up . Cool water for a swim . Altogether we will be back ! Thank you so much
The hosts are wonderful, but the rural area has some pros and cons. The only mobile provider that has one bar of service in one room of the house is Telstra. No Vodafone, no Optus. Even Telstra goes to 3G quite often.
During the storms hot water was switching off, had to contact the host to get it back on.
No screens in some rooms, and even with the screens I had 5 different types of bugs crawling all over my bed in droves each night. Might suit an eager entomologist.
The property doesn’t have working locks, we were advised not to leave any valuables.
Lots of dilapidated barns and sheds on the land, might be not safe for really young kids.
Water might be drinkable but tasted different, ended up buying 10l cans from the grocery store.
Very peaceful and quiet, lots of puzzles, dvds and books. A working dishwasher and a grill.
If you decide to do horse riding at the Cowboy Up, it’s better to take the highway. Google maps suggests a 15 minutes route that requires a 4WD and to open and shut some gates, remove fallen trees from the road and takes about 35 minutes.
