Large dissapointment
I checked into Sandcastle on Saturday evening. I had to step over a pair of men's BVD's to get to the check in desk. Even though they had given me a card detailing how to check into the internet, I was not able to sign in or connect the TV. I finally called the front desk and was told "it had been out all day." They didn't know when it would be up and there was not manager on duty I could talk to. I was told they would be in Sunday morning. The manager did not show Sunday, so I was pushed off until Monday. The assistant manager I talked to told me the internet was off as of Thursday morning, and the repairman scheduled for Monday morning did not show.
The boardwalk to the 'exclusive' beach was not available to me as I was using my walker and it contained at least five sets of stairs.
There were two elcetric recliners in the room. I had to use one as my luggae rack as they did not have one, and the other did not work.
The pillows on the bed were the softest I've ever seen, and when I asked for a firmer one for my arthritis, I was told 'I don't think we can do that'. Housekeeping did make two firm pillows, and they worked well.
When requested, they did not send me a copy of the contract.
I reccommend everyone to be very careful before booking this facility.
