Cute little place. Walking distance from a wide variety of activities and food places. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom is a bit small but manageable. Loved our stay!

Perfect spot within walking distance to Rupp

I have stayed here several times and already have plans to come back. It is so cozy and clean and just a few minutes walk to Rupp Arena. Hosts are super nice and communicative which is very important to me when choosing a VRBO.

This apartment was perfect for our visit to Lexington for the NCAA Division 3 golf tournament. It’s a great historical neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants. The apartment is nicely decorated and very clean. If we ever travel to Lexington again, we’ll be sure to stay here again!

Absolutely a wonderful location, quiet but super close to Rupp, downtown, and very walkable. We would definitely stay here again if another show we wanted to see came to Rupp Arena!! Check in/accessiblity was a breeze. The hosts thought of just about everything you could want or need to use on a quick trip.

Best little place for two working gals

My colleague and I needed a place close to the convention center where we were working a trade show. This was unbelievably convenient, clean, easy, and cute! Better for a couple, but perfectly fine with one of us in the bedroom and the other on the couch. Easy street parking for two cars with permits supplied by owner.

Keeneland Spring Weekend

We loved the ambiance & decor of the apartment & the neighborhood. The bed was comfortable & the spacious living room was great in the evening. The sheet music on the piano was a direct connection to my husband, he was named for Dennis Morgan & the sheet music was dated 1949, his birth year! Amazing coincidence that made us really feel at home. We'll be back!

We're both Kentucky natives. Haviland is from Cynthiana, and John is from Lebanon. We rented an apartment in the house for several years and bought it in the summer of 2016 because we found it charming and also knew it would be challenging. It was in a state of disrepair when we bought it, and almost every area in the house had critical issues to address. We spent 18-months doing an intense DIY renovation to make it as inviting and comfortable as we can for our guests. We're still making minor adjustments and improvements almost daily, and it's become more of a passion now than work.

Why they chose this property

This particular apartment is within a historic house in a residential neighborhood near Downtown Lexington. It is in walking distance to bars and restaurants, and the owners live next door and are almost always available if-needed.

What makes this property unique

This home has many unique features, from the gingerbread moulding on the porch, to the hardwood floors inside. We purchased it from a friend who purchased it from a friend. We are constantly working to make it even better. Our favorite space is probably the backyard which is shared with all 3-apartments in the house.
