The owner was highly communicative and accommodating. The location was perfect for us, and it was a great value. Especially compared to some of the others in the area. Very very happy.
Our stay in Port Charlotte was amazing. We had our family of five and our 5 month old puppy on our stay. The host was very kind and was there to answer any questions we had. The location was great and was close to the beaches. It was nice to go out the back door and drink a cup of coffee on the dock, with a view of fishes jumping out of the water. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The house was very clean and welcoming. When we visit Florida again we will definitely stay at this house in the future.
After a little glitch getting into the house it was just as represented in the listing. Had a plumbing issue during the stay which was promptly address by the owner sending a plumber out. Location is very central to go to Punta Gorda or Port Charlotte. Since it backs up to a waterway, makes it fairly quiet and private. Back yard and hot tub were very very relaxing. Will most likely try to book again.

Greg is very polite and communicative. He left a good impression on me and I would not hesitate to recommend him or host him again with confidence.
Linens badly worn, silverware, dishes, pots and pans lacking. Over all cleanliness not good. Property did have a great view. The owner was great. We had several problems which he took care of promptly.I think VRBO should require the owners to update their pictures periodically, just not fare to the renters viewing pictures probably 20 years old.
Very nice property, close to everything the property Mgr Dave wasn't excellent.
Very peacefull. Moved from Missouri and rented for 4 weeks to find a duplex to buy. Found a new home but we couldn't close till the 9th of June. Pierre, the owner was kind enough to extend my stay. During a real stressful time I was able to unwind watching the water and the crazy fish that would jump so high out of the water.

We were glad to have you since you were a good and respectfull tenant.
Good luck with your new house.
Pierre
The house was in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoted watching the fish jump as well as the birds. Due to the hurricane & loss of outside storage building there were lots of things stuffed into cabinets & closets for storage. This didn’t affect our stay since there was plenty of room for the two of us & our 2 dogs. The dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard.
Pierre, the owner, was very gracious and checked in with us after we had been there a few days as well as alerting us when the neighbors spotted a alligator prowling to ensure we kept the dogs safe. All in all a very pleasant stay while waiting for our new house to be completed.

Not worth the money
I first want to say that Pierre, the host was delightful. He was always prompt to respond to my questions, and even let us check in early. However, the place is in serious need of updating. The furniture has blankets covering exposed foam cushions. The electrician Pierre sent for a separate issue warned us to be extremely careful when using the hot tub so we didn't feel safe to get in.There was open packages of food in the cupboard along with cockroaches. There was often a strong sewer odor in the house, even after we reset the sewer pump. Overall, we have stayed in this area , for the past 7 Februarys, and this was the most expensive and least enjoyable house. There w
Enjoyed the wide canal and dock off backyard. It was very peaceful in the evenings to fish and relax. Did catch a 30" Tarpon there one night! Home is older and not perfect, but was fine for me with no complaints.
