Wake up to the sunrise on the front balcony looking out over the ocean. Relax after a day at the beach, pool, and activities watching the sunset over Galveston Bay from the back balcony.

It is located in the highly sought-after Pointe West Resort on the West End of Galveston Beach on the 1st floor. Beautifully decorated with a coastal flair, wonderfully maintained, and accommodates 1-6 guests.

When you arrive at Sandpiper Pointe, you will be greeted by an open-plan unit appointed with a beach theme. On the balcony is an expansive oceanfront view of the sand and sea. The sunrises here are not to be missed. This fabulous beachfront condo offers is next to the Pointe West Beach Club and is an easy walk to the beach!

The main Beach Club boasts an infinity-edge pool, hot tub, children's wading pool, cabanas, grills, workout facility with lockers, game room, and poolside drink and food service. The Sunset Pool on the bayside has a small lazy river, fire pit, gas, and charcoal grills. The onsite concierge service, Coastal Waves Vacations, offers rentals for beach lounger chairs, umbrellas, tables, cabanas with side curtains, kayaks, paddleboards, and aqua cycle.

Wristbands for Beach Club amenities are $25 per person for the stay and sold by the Beach Club. Wristbands not required to stay in unit.

Golf carts and other beach items can also be arranged through other local providers

Cancellation: Guest receives 100% (Of what was paid minus the cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 90 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (Of what was paid minus cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds after 30 days.

Pets allowed up to 2 small dogs 25lbs each with a fee.

No events, prom, graduation, or parties of any sort with prior written approval. Additional fees will apply if occupancy is exceeded.

The building has elevators. However, if the elevators are not operational, guests will need to climb a set of stairs to reach the unit. The elevators are operated and maintained by the condo owner's association and Coastal Waves Vacations has no control over the functionality. We do not offer refunds for elevator malfunctions.

Pointe West Beach Club

Spend a wonderful day at the pool or beach at the luxurious Pointe West Beach Club. Pointe West offers numerous amenities including, an infinity pool, children's pool, lazy river(heated in the winter), fitness center, and restaurant. The Resort is run homeowner association and charges $25 per person, 4 years or older. Use of the Beach Club is optional and access fee is paid directly and is not included in rental rates. Sorry, Coastal Waves Vacations cannot guarantee the availability of the amenities.

The community is easily walkable. Golf Carts are a great way to get around as well. However, golf carts, dune buggies, or any other types are vehicles are not allowed on Galveston beaches, dunes, or wetlands; this is city law!

The real thing is even better than the pictures. My group was blown away when we got to this location. The whole space was well decorated and very clean, providing a great deal of comfort for our stay. The building is very close to the main resort area which has a large pool (with friendly pool side service), a restuarant, a game room, and a gift shop, and has great access to the beach. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway far from the busyness of the main part of Galveston, this is the place.

We all had an amazing week together. The location is further west than Galveston and we enjoyed the quiet. Balcony had excellent views, beach was close, pool very nice. Simple check in and check out. Condo was excellent. Comfortable beds. Clean. Pet friendly and she enjoyed the beach also.

We booked a condo for our 45th wedding anniversary and celebrated with friends also celebrating anniversaries. We enjoyed our stay, including the beach & pool amenities (the children and young adults in our group REALLY enjoyed the pool!) Amazing 2 bedroom for a quiet weekend in Pointe West

Overall had a great time and Pointe West is a nice and quiet neighborhood. It’s near the beach club and was as advertised. The only negative was that items in the storage unit shown in the listing. 1 pop up tent had zippers that were corroded shut which I did not notice until after we took it to the beach. I returned it and took another back to the beach and then noticed it was broken while setting it up. The cart does work and there are other beach toys. Overall I definitely would recommend but rent or bring your own shade for the beach.

Perfect location!

Our family of four (children 10yrs, and 12yrs) stayed for the week in July 2023. The condo was clean, and had everything that we needed for the week. The condo had a good view, and nice large balcony, but the close location to the beach club was our favorite feature! Oh, a very nice bonus was a storage locker in the garage that had plenty of chairs, umbrellas, etc. for the beach. The process of reserving the condo, and handling all of the administrative tasks was easy enough, and didn't present any problems. We would rent this place again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

Great Place. Very Restful

The condo is pretty and tastefully furnished, nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable too. The grounds and environment at Pointe West are beautiful and well manicured. The only minor drawbacks for us (at 84 yo) is the walking distance to the actual beach. Also we were on the first floor and the gulf view is partially obstructed by the height of the wooden walkway from the club house to the beach. For folks planning to spend long times on the beach that would probably be a non issue. Overall we had a very nice restful time in a lovely place. Highly recommend.

Beautiful condo

This property is pristine in a location far from the crazy crowds. This condo is beautiful, looks brand new & very clean. We enjoyed the beach club amenities & can see how families with children could really take advantage of the pools & views. Just need to know there is a lot of walking to get to the beach & to the beach club amenities. We drove to the sunset pool & enjoyed the lazy river which was very relaxing. We were there 5/13-5/17/24 & had the place to ourselves with only a few other guests. This was our choice to avoid crowds. Only downside is that the mosquitoes were really bad! Bring repellent. This is still the gulf coast & you need to prepare.

The unit’s location and amenities were awesome. The overall stay was good. Very disappointed in the cleanliness, lack of sufficient cookware, poor pillows, and over-crowding of unnecessary furniture (too many end tables everywhere and chair in bedroom. Mirror not mounted but propped on wall that was dangerous for toddler). Bad musky smell upon entry and main bedroom closet. Messy linen closet and dated bed covering in second bedroom. As a matter of fact the bed in secondary room was merely a rolling frame with a mattress. For the money it cost to rent I was expecting higher end.

Peaceful stay with plenty of comfort.

This is the fourth time (and third unit) we've booked at Pointe West. The accommodations were wonderful, clean, perfectly updated, and incredibly comfortable. Two couches were an extra nice touch. Bed linens and towels were plush. The master bed was a little too soft for me, but nothing to gripe about. One big plus: I was hesitant to book a bottom floor unit, but there was zero noise above or around us. It was completely serene. And, unlike the top floor units, the thermostat doesn't have to work overtime to keep this condo plenty cool in the middle of summer. We also ate dinner at the Beach Club restaurant one night, and it was delicious. (Oysters, fish tacos, fried fish and crab mac and cheese all got a thumbs up.) The pool amenities are always nice. We used it once, but we went to the beach every day. And there were no jellyfish or seaweed problems to be found when we were there. I always like the private beach at Pointe West (super clean, never a crowd, and plenty of room to enjoy it all). All you need to bring is your beach umbrella or canopy, chairs and towels. Thanks for a great stay.
