Great cozy house and they thought of all the amenities and then some. We loved relaxing in the jacuzzi stargazing after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!
Great location for a family. Very clean and comfortable and enough space for the family to spread out and to gather. Everything was as advertised and the checkin was easy. The place had absolutely everything needed for a long stay. Highly recommended.
Perfect location. Clean and well equipped. Much bigger then the pictures indicated. Great kitchen. Good beds clean bathrooms. Close to good restaurants. Would stay again if in the area.

Loved it!
We loved this house. It was very clean and roomy, the hot tub was on and waiting for us when we arrived. We were 3 couples and there was so much room to hang out together or get away for personal time! We all felt the beds were very comfortable which is very important after long hikes. I was a little hesitant to book this house as I thought we needed to be in Springdale since most of our days were going to be in Zion. However, the drive to Zion was very short (maybe 25 minutes or so) and we ended up loving Hurricane! We found some excellent restaurants in Hurricane and we appreciated being close to stores to pick up last minute items. We all would definitely stay here again when in the area, it was perfect!

Some good, some great
The great... location is phenomenal and more than enough room to get comfortable. The good... layout is a bit funky and segmented. Pictures of outdoor living space are a bit deceiving as it made the hot tub look like a pool in the back yard. Also, backyard was not accessible at all, which was a bit disappointing as it backed to the rock face for beautiful views.
The Host is super nice. He had the property ready early and invited us to come earlier if we wanted. Major bonus points. He even had the hot tub Hot and ready! The theming was awesome. We love Zion National Park and each room was themed for each hike in Zion. The rental had everything you could need. Our trip really was easy, comfortable, and fun. Game room, hot tub, and fire pit?? Sold.

Somewhat disappointed
We didn’t realize there was no stove (but there is a hot plate) so my plans to bake were thwarted. Also this is a basement unit and we could hear people stomping around upstairs (waking us up). The “fire pit” is a propane fire. Overall it was okay, but for the price we were disappointed.

Hi Julie, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We’ve updated the listing to clarify that this is a basement unit with a private entrance, two bedrooms, and one bathroom- We’re sorry about the noise disturbance—there was a one-time issue with our son that’s been taken care of to help ensure quieter stays moving forward- The listing doesn’t advertise an oven, but we do provide a hot plate and other essentials to help guests prepare simple meals- The fire pit is propane, chosen for safety and ease of use so guests can enjoy it without the hassle of wood or smokeThanks for taking the time to leave your review.
Great location! Everything was clean and kitchen was well organized. Hot tub was much appreciated. The water bottles and snacks were a nice touch. Beds were comfortable. Scenery was icing on the cake.
We did not realize until re-reading description that owners occupied attached house. I would move that to the top paragraph of the description, not the very bottom section. It wasn’t a problem for us though.
We stayed here with the intention of having somewhere close to Zion National Park. Zion was about a half hour drive from this location. The house was great. It was close to restaurants and shopping. We drove in from Vegas. An amazing senic drive! The house was very clean. Great kitchen for cooking! Has everything you could need. Very comfortable beds. The hot tub was ready for us to use upon arrival. The house is attached to the main house, but you have complete privacy in the dwelling and your own private porch area as seen in pictures. The complementary water bottles and packs of peanuts were a nice touch! Side note to anyone visting Zion for the first time, add at least two hours to your days plans for shuttle bus lines throughout the day.
I really cannot say enough good things about this lovely home, location, and host. If I could leave 6 stars, I'd do so. The home is comfortable, well-appointed, and neatly organized. There is plenty of everything, including not only the sort of things you'd expect (like toilet paper and dish soap) but lots of things you wouldn't (like a welcome basket with water bottles and peanut snacks). The neighborhood is very peaceful and within easy walking distance of a town park that offers ready access to nice hiking trails. The home is also situated about halfway between Zion National Park, and St. George, Utah, which turns out to offer wonderful road biking greenways -- something that worked out well for my family and our interests.

Very Strange Place
The host gave us good parking instructions prior to arrival which was nice.
Hot tub Was hot and ready to go and towels were stocked.
Game room was awesome with plenty of games!
Cool Hike close to the property.

No Propane tank for the BBQ.
Outdoor fire had propane but did not work.
Water Filter Pitcher in kitchen was moldy and gross.
We were relaxing and hanging out after a hike at Zion and some kid from the household said he needed to go through the house? it was locked obviously so he could not get in. He needs a key or a hide-a-key or something. Very unprofessional hosting etiquette.
Literally hair and grime from previous guest in every corner of the bathrooms.
Master bathroom was stinky as soon as we walked in.
Bugs and dirt in every window seal.
Host seems strict on sound but you can literally hear people through a door in the kitchen. Honestly feels like you are tiptoeing around this place.
---We were loud outside on the last night and we feel bad about that but this place was just strange. Overall the location was good but will definitely be choosing a different property next time around.

Thank you for your feedback, Brady. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed several aspects of your stay, including the parking instructions, hot tub, game room, and the nearby hike. I would like to address some of the concerns you’ve raised: - Propane & Outdoor Fire Pit: We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the BBQ and fire pit. While the fire pit had propane, it seems there may have been a malfunction. We’ll ensure both are fully operational for future guests. - Water Filter Pitcher: This is certainly not up to our usual standards, and we’ve replaced the pitcher to ensure it's clean for all future guests. - Unannounced Visit: Regarding the incident where someone tried to enter the property, I assure you that I have no children currently residing on the property, nor did anyone from my household attempt to enter during your stay. It’s possible that there was a misunderstanding, but we will review this carefully to prevent any similar occurrences in the future. - Cleanliness Concerns: Cleanliness is a top priority for us. I personally inspect the property after it is cleaned, and I am very disappointed to hear about the issues you mentioned. We will be revisiting our cleaning procedures to ensure that these kinds of oversights do not happen again. - Noise Sensitivity: While we strive to provide a peaceful environment, we understand that sound can travel in older homes. Thank you again for staying with us, and we appreciate your feedback. It helps us improve, and we hope you found some memorable moments during your trip.
The first two days we were there, we had a "feeling" that someone had been in the unit while we were gone. Nothing major to put our finger on except that some blinds we left open were now closed.
On the 3rd day it was confirmed. We left for breakfast but my teenage daughter stayed back to work on homework. She called from the bedroom about an hour after we left and said a man was in the house! I called the VRBO manager who said nobody should be in there and I said they needed to contact him immediately and tell him to get out as my daughter was terrified!
When the manager called back, they said the owner denied being in there. Then at the same time he claimed that maybe his son had come in to look for a game. Even if his son came in, that's not ok, but it was a complete lie. My daughter heard HIM. When she saw him she ran upstairs to her room and he took off out the door. SKETCHY.
Let me be clear, if there was good reason to be in there, he would have at bare minimum announced himself and then done what he needed to do. We did not stay the last night because we were too creeped out by the owner, who lives in the adjoining house.
Stay here if you want someone creeping on your stuff while you are gone.
PS I would have given positive stars for cleanliness, location and all of that, but I didn't want to bring the star rating up because there's no justification. Great location, loved the little hike just up the road.

Hi Holly, we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts about your recent stay. Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following:- We sincerely apologize for any issues you encountered during your stay, particularly the incident involving our 17-year-old son, who grabbed a game from the game room during your visit. He has autism and may not always adhere to typical social norms. He no longer resides in the home, and we are taking steps to ensure that such situations do not recur in the future.- Regarding the blinds, they are automatic and can be adjusted using a remote control. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience you may have experienced.Once again, thank you for sharing your review with us. Your feedback helps us improve our guest experiences.
Zion Haven was so amazing!!! They think of EVERYTHING!!! The home was clean, quiet and the hot tub was really nice after exploring during the day. There is no thermostat in the home but the Hosts somehow knew the PERFECT temperature night and day. We really got lucky with this place, it was perfect!!! Thank you again!!! We really appreciated you!!!
