This was our second stay and it did not disappoint! Spent a wonderful weekend with our grown children, their spouses, grandson and grand dogs. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. We love the convenience to the lake! The men fished and we enjoyed being together.

Thank you for loving our cabin! We wanted it to be a warm, cozy, family gathering place, just like its been for OUR family for 36 years! Lots of family history there and it makes us happy to know other families are using this special place to make their own forever-family memories.

From the owner: "Thanks, Sherry! Come back anytime!"
This cabin was so sweet and had the most beautiful view similar to a Kincade painting.the owners were very accommodating and kind. We will definitely go back!
The listing was accurate and the property manager was very prompt and responsive in communication. The cabin has a spacious back deck overlooking Lake Nottley, with rocking chairs, swing bed and other areas to sit and enjoy the serene lake view. A perfect place to unwind for a quiet weekend.
We enjoyed this home with all of its peace and tranquility! The owners are gracious, helpful, and so accommodating!

From the owner: "Gayle we absolutely loved having you guys up there, and so appreciate that you "get it"... the homey, peaceful vibe of this stunning lakefront property. Looking forward to having you there again!"
A perfect summer cabin on the lake. Our family enjoyed our time by the water and sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. Instead of tv or a movie we played games at night and laughed a lot. This is such a great place on the lake and close to quaint little mountain towns and hiking adventures. I Highly recommend
This place was pure perfection for our family of four! We loved reading about the history of the property and the family who lived there for years and are grateful they gave us the poor to create our own memories in the house! It was so clean and cute!
What a great cabin on the lake!
Even with the water level being low due
to winter draining, it was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I, along with my oldest son & his Girlfriend, truly enjoyed this cabin & would absolutely recommend it!
You can tell it is full of awesome memories just by looking at the pictures on the wall!
Beautiful, quaint property. Made us feel like we were visiting family. Kitchen had everything we needed, the living rooms were so cozy…my favorite place was the back porch overlooking the lake, especially in the morning while drinking coffee. Our teenage sons enjoyed fishing off the dock (and excellent wifi). Highly recommend !
Well, we loved the location and the cabin. The challenge was making it through the first night...no heat. The gas heater in the family room worked, thank goodness. My husband is on blood thinners, so he was extremely cold. We finally heard back from someone the next day. A very nice serviceman came the next afternoon and had to replace the thermostat. All was well then! We think our grandsons, ages 13-20, would love a trip back there maybe in the spring for fishing. Loved it!

thanks for your patience! We love the fact that our cabin is a legit "lake cabin", not a modern build, created to rent as a business. But yes, part of the downside is that its a sweet, comfy, yet "vintage" cabin. We love the place and so deeply appreciate people that actually "get it". When WE go to out STR properties, it is what WE look for! Looking forward to having you come back!

Great stay!
This was our second time staying here over the past 2 summers. The cabin is older but definitely family oriented. Beds are comfy and had everything we needed. Our dog enjoyed every second of our stay. We fished off the dock, had a pontoon and jet ski hooked up to the dock as well, the dock area is perfect! Overall it was a great time and the response of the questions we had were answered in a very quick manner ! Always like staying here. If you want the lake life and feel, This is the place to get it!
Property was clean and had all of the expected amenities. The lake view was amazing and the ability to fish rigjt off the pier was excellent. Boaters always rode by and were very friendly. Had a community feel by the lake. Also there was a lot of information about the original owners and community that use to live there and how they were part of Nasa which was a nice personal touch. I would definitely recommend rented here. Great place.

Wonderful Cabin
The accommodations were just right. We slept in the main floor bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. The back porch was spacious and perfect for early morning coffee and watching the sunset in the evening. The cabin kitchen included all the basics; coffee, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, plates. The claw-foot tub was perfect for a soak after a full day of hiking in the mountains at Vogel State Park. We had a great time.
Everything was excellent... only 2 complaints. The sheets are old and pilling. Threre is only 1 shower and the shower head is horrible

From the Owner: "Thank you very much for your stay and fantastic review I will gladly take your comments into account to make the stay more pleasant and we hope to host you again very soon”.
This is definitely a multi-generation family cabin/home. From the pictures on the walls (which are all dated which was awesome) to the stain glass windows and the ball at the foot of the stairs that all came from a relative's house that was being demolished in Ireland. There is a book on the table in the living room "The Cabin" which tells their story. Although this cabin is older and dated, it was very comfortable, homey, warm and inviting. Had everything we needed to prepare and have Thanksgiving dinner. The views from the back porch looking at the lake are beautiful!! Easy to get to and owner is so nice and easy to communicate with. I'm looking forward to returning for another visit.
